Copperrein's Summer 2021 Outdoor Soil Grow

Weee! I stepped outside this morning and didn't start oozing funk! Imma try to spend the entire day outside with my girls. I mixed up a ghetto amendment of GeoFlora bloom, alfalfa, and blood and bone meal. I'll feed it to everyone outside this morning.

Hulkberry is going from funky to fruity and she's so massive. I'm happy as hell and feel I've improved since last year's grow.

Sweet jesus this summer...our AC units are growing algae it's so humid. That's my new battle here: mold and algae. Vinegar is my current eau du temps...that and the Coney Dog funk emanating from my pits. Yums.

I busted out the @Sierra Natural Science Spider mite stuff for the garden girls and WOWE it smells so amazing. I totally sprayed myself with it just to reek of rosemary all day. The odors surrounding growing can be really great.

Triple Cheese smells like feet and and cheese. Hulkberry is just funky diesel.

And this concludes my ramble. I hope you enjoyed.

You must have some happy friends :passitleft:

Hah! Most of my local friends either work real jobs that still piss test or they grow as well. We mostly trade bud back and forth when we all get bored with what we have in our jars.

There are a couple locals who are old and have whatever medical issues that I just give stuff to when I have enough. They COULD grow...they're just convinced they can't (one has a blueberry farm :| ). I'd like to get good enough at cloning so I can just throw healthy plants at them and be like 'grow or die, ho'.

Ok so I've googled Alien Rock Candy (from a man who sells seeds) and I can find zero examples of magenta stigmas in the strain. Is this a disease? I can't be this lucky. There's no way BUT...more and more bud sites are showing this trait as the plants grows.

White Widow is looking all 1980's. Holy crap these plants are just amazing little things. Every day I wonder what I could have accomplished if I had gotten into growing sooner. They make me happy.

Sour Diesel

And leading the pack, Hulkberry. So sexy <3

My morning smoke spot:

And one more of Sour Diesel. I finally got an ok-ish photo of her entire mass. She kinda blends into the weeds around her normally.

Michigan friends isn't this weather amazeballs?? I'm trying to spend as much time outside as possible today BUT I did discover that the stretchy green grafting tape isn't all that stretchy on my Gelat.OG #2. A secondary branch split way back when and I used some of the tape to hold her crotch together. She grew around it and now has a crotch butt (behind the trimmers):

Aaaand more trunk porn...I think I'm going to buy some meerschaum, carve a little bowl...and turn Alien Rock Candy's trunk base and one branch into a sherlock:

The back of Wedding Cake (northern side which gets the least light:

Mmmm...extreme plant bondage
And the fat knuckle that is Critical Purple Kush's trunk:

I about to tell my brothers that I’ll hook them up, just buy these seeds for me…

here's the whole tune :

take a trip and never leave the farm.

the song was an am radio hit in the early 70's, around the same time songwriters like jim croce was popular. when i was a kid i used to sing a long to it with my parents on camping road trips and vacations. :cheesygrinsmiley:

@Trala :green_heart:

Just took some Alien Rock Candy clones. I harvested from lower inside branches, all show no signs of being in full flower unlike the top part of the plant. I cut at a 45 and immediately put each cutting into water. Once I had nine I cut right below a node further up the cutting, dipped in clonex, and plugged them into a root riot cube. I trimmed the remaining leaves, placed them on a tray, and put about 3ml of diluted clonex on the plugs.

I'll figure out a humidity dome tomorrow.

Did I do it right?

How I notice this shit, I'll never know but I've been giggling at this since last night:

It looks like it was just flying along and hit the stem like when Wiley E Coyote slams into a telephone pole. This shall be my new profile photo for every because it sums up my mood for the last 10 years.

Welcome to my garden, folks.

I think they look great.

If I was going to give feedback I would say go shorter. I am by no means an expert, but I would have cut here. So they aren’t so top heavy.

Oohhh...I figured more nodes more places for roots to pop from once they go into soil? I've only ever 'cloned' house plants so yeah...mostly shit that predates on other plants and is super happy to send out vampire roots.

I got a big one or y'all today. I took a photo of each plant and then details of bud sites. I need recommendations on how to support the colas on my larger bushier plants like White Widow and Alien Rock Candy. I'm planning on doing the thing I see people do where they drape scrog netting over the top and nudge it down a little. It's ugly so any other options are appreciated.
