Copperrein's 3x Homegrown Cannabis Co., Mars Hydro SP3000 Sponsor Grow Wsg Prescription Blend

Not sure this is an an iron deficiency but I agree on upping the feed. How are the roots on these? I see paleness but no inter veinal chlorosis
All three had roots popping out the bottom of the root riot plugs. I think they may have just been underfed :D I peeked in the tent this morning and they're looking a lot better >.>

God I love hydro. While madness ensues in my other soil-based grows...my hydro tent just runs itself. No bugs...no nutrient worries. Just growth. Thank you @Prescription Blend as always for the great system and thank you @Mars Hydro for the sweet light. I really wish I had gone with you guys for my first grow light. Live and learn, I guess.

Ok community...those of you who have grown Strawberry Cough....does it really taste like strawberries when you cough? Kyle Kushman has a new strain coming out...something star and berry or something. Sounds equally as weird. I dunno...anything strongly non-citrus fruity coming across in weed is just so strange. It's a dry flavor mimicking something that should be a wet flavor. Like LaCroix. Am I broken?

Lol! Nope, not broken at all! I’ve grown a couple of “berry” strains (Dream Berry and Berry Ryder) as well as Ultra Lemon Haze and Purple Lemonade. I also have some Blackberry and Blueberry seeds in line for the next grow. I don’t think I’ve gotten a truly “fruit” flavored taste from them, but I will say that the fruity strains have been my favorites (as well as the favorites of others). Seems like the Fruity ones are fairly strong sativas (to me) and the Purple Lemonade is one of my absolute favorites. It‘s an Indica leaning hybrid. I love that stuff in the evening. Seems to my that Kyle knows his shit :cheesygrinsmiley: I’d try anything fruity he came out with. Go for it Copperrein!

I have Raspberry Cough and there's a very slight fruity taste to it but not overwhelmingly so, in my opinion.

I'm alive as are the plants. I put a layer of live moss over the hydroton in my system as a way to help hold mycos so they may grow down through the hydroton towards the coco-filled net pot as the roots spread laterally towards the hyphae, AND as a way to help keep the hydroton moist. The top layer was always dry and it bugged me.

Also did a res change since they were looking hungry.

I'm honestly super impressed with the @Mars Hydro light. The plants are growing really fast and big under it.

OH! Roots have appeared popping through the colanders! They're already growing out more than they would have in just the net pot. Woot!

Good choice to tie the net pots to the colanders! The roots do seem to like this setup you invented.

Golly! I just went back through my last grow with this setup and I feel this one is already outperforming it. The roots are nuts. This is 3 1/2 weeks since dropping beans. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm thinking I'll flip these in two/three weeks. I topped some more...whatever was getting too tall. I hope choosing to top more dominant branches, I'll give the smaller ones time to catch up in terms of height while also creating more bud sites.

Maaan....these bar lights are so good. The plants are loving the @Mars Hydro SP3000 and I love because it's cool and compact. There's not a huge flat board blocking stuff. I have more options for fan placement and cabling. There's more airflow.

I found a flaw with my tilted reservoir design: the plants aren't level so the roots are all growing more vigorously on the low side. I've since jammed some closed-cell styrofoam on one side of each combo-pot thing to try and get more even development. STILL...root growth has greatly improved over the last version.

P.S. @Prescription Blend I found the stickers! Thank you! Am excite. You rock. Your nutrients rock.

If you don't include me snapping a primary branch nearly all the way off on Strawberry Cough, the girls are doing great! I think I may have saved the branch, minus a big fan leaf. Next few days will tell me.

Nothing to report on my theory regarding the distribution of roots coming out of the colander. I think I see the side of the colander that was higher bursting with the very beginnings of new root growth, but yeah..not 100%

The moss is possibly growing mold...but it could also be mycos. I'm leaving one plant with the styrofoam lid off to see what happens. I'm expecting the moss to completely dry up and be useless *big shrug*. Aside from that the moss is forming this neat little mini-biome below the cannabis plants.

More topping, more growth. Did some defol to let light through to the cola sites and to clean up the bottoms on SC and NL. Yumbolt is still too small for such abuse.

Meant to do a res change yesterday but the day had other plans. I hope I can get to it today.

Did another res change a few days ago. Woot! Left them sitting at EC 1.5 and pH 6.3.

I also scavenged the corpse of my festival tent for scrog parts. Observe, chaos scrog 2.0:

Hopefully (she said, uncertainly) this will make eventual harvest much easier.

We shall see. Perhaps sooner than expected as they're growing way faster than I planned >.>
