Conradino23 Keeps On Keeping On Outdoor & Indoor Using LOS/High Brix Methods

Indoor will be off for a while. We need to redo the bathroom and that involves bashing down some walls. I can’t have the builders over 5 days a week and plants in the tent giving off a pungent aroma unfortunately :)

It's situations like these that forced me to learn a lot about various trades, all to keep the grow going w/o taking on security risks. I had to learn plumbing and electric yeah, but also construction and very soon HVAC because allowing the AC installer to have a peak at the mini split's head unit is not an option I will consider, lol. That sucks if you gotta shut down the shop to do work, but if you must, you must.

It’s pretty cool, man :)

It’s not an option here. Complicated work involving working with a precise design and measures, getting electric installation in check, flooring, tiling, repiping and some other stuff too probably. Way over my abilities :)

They should be done in 4 weeks. I have a couple of jars, so I feel confident about the future

Yeah that's the way to get some savings for sure. For years I've been actually vegging plants on 16/8 and it worked. The less light the have the slower the growth, but if you wanna cut the costs that's the way.
Yeah I have switched my vegging tent over to 16/8 from 18/6. I figure thats over a 10% reduction of electricity right off the bat there.

Sounds like a good deal then! Lol

Yeah it’s sth we’ve been planinng. We just have to do it.

so your going to have some seeds on the germ plate in 4 weeks then!

They’re gonna come around January and when they’re finished I’m gonna see. I might have my hands full by then. The business after long painful months is ginally taking off, so I’ll have an op to run :)

It really shows on the bill. For the vegging what lets you cut it down is also GLR. I’ve seen people doing it with huge success.

well have to see :) that's a good thing the business is happening now are you able to take samples from there im thinking somebody should keep up with quality control!

I’ll keep up with it, cause I’m the only one who understands it :smokin2:

:thumb: great to hear, Con!

:hmmmm: pls enlighten me... wot is GLR? :)

GLR is gas lantern routine. It’s a technique of budget vegging with short photoperiod and flash of light in the middle of the night.

I have no doubt your going to have high quality product:) your apprentice is lucky to be learning the craft from you good luck bud!:D

I already have someone to help. I hope he’ll want to learn. I’ll be building cultivation crew in no time :)

Gas light routine is where you set your lighting to something shorter than normal, like 12/12, but you set it to come on for 15 minutes in there middle of the dark period. The brief light in the middle of the night keeps the plants in vegetative state, but you're using much less electricity. It's supposed to help the plants start to flower quicker when you flip them as well.

Sorry for throwing this at you so blatantly @Amy Gardner :)
