Conradino23 Keeps On Keeping On Outdoor & Indoor Using LOS/High Brix Methods

So mine is the opposite, fruity/chemical body with a nice funk, but we’ll see what they end up with.

Pics of UD & PD for your pleasure.

This UD was a last minute selection when the chosen one turned out to a male and two others were better off outdoor imo. She was really small when I flipped her, but she branched out very nicely, which is what these plants do when trained properly and I'm gonna get a decent yield off of her.

She started off with a really sweet, intoxicating, pastry smell, that's just grown stronger and stronger and now has turned into some custard with a hint of vanilla, lemon and pine that's hidden underneath, but becomes very apparent once you rub your fingers. It's a standard bouquet of UD, but I've never had this sweet intensity outdoor. Thicker layer of trichs too.

Purple Dog has been a very obedient gal until I spotted two nanners on one of the lower colas today. Buds are bead strings, so Malawi influence is apparent, but the bouquet is much more like UD. It's sweet, but very zesty, dominated by strong lime smell.

And this is MSM, that I've wanted to experiment with for a long time, but only now pulled the trigger. I started with a tsp per plant together with stinging nettle and horsetail tea I fed to Bubbas. I'm curious how it's gonna work as a finisher. They're really terpy at this point and I don't think they'll run for more than 7-10 days, cause both have started popping amber.:rollit:

Might be the temps they drifted a tad too high for too long.

Looking good Con!

That's the first Purple Dawg I've seen throw nanners. I don't think it would be the heat. I had my flower room hit the 111F mark a couple of times when I was growing them out and it didn't cause it. It must be hidden away in the genetics somewhere.

How far along is your PD? I was thinking you started it flowering around the same time as your UD, but it seems to be keeping up with it, which is the quickest one I've seen so far.

It started together with Bubbas, so it’s the beginning of 6th week now for her. Yeah I’m afraid there are hermie genes somewhere there... and most likely come from OG side. It’s why I don’t recommend using these plants for breeding if someone’s popping UD beans. Nice smells and great potency, but too much risk of passing some unwanted traits too. Well if she doesn’t throw more of these I’m gonna chalk it up as a minor thing, but I’m gonna keep an eye on her.

That's really fast. It must be the UD coming through on genetics. The only UD cross I've had throw nanners was the one with a Sinai landrace that was already a bit unstable generically. UD definitely adds some punch to the mix.

Would be nice to isolate some nice phenos and stabilize the line like Sticky has started doing.

F3 is in the plans, but definitely not now :)

nice healthy green plants con

Thx man

Well she's flowering fast, so she just might be ready at 8 weeks. I hope these buds will fill up a bit more, but maybe not :)

She's got narrower leaves, but the buds look like UD as opposed to Malawi. I didn't know if she will. They'll probably be around the size you get from UD.

Actually buds are nothing like UD, they are typical sativa large calyxes with no real density to the whole flower. I don’t think you can see it very well on these pics.

I'd prolly thro a nanner or 2 at those temps. lol

Like the looks of that PD.

That MSM - same as the health stuff for hoo-mans?
