Conradino23 Keeps On Keeping On Outdoor & Indoor Using LOS/High Brix Methods

Jeez sticky, you are up early! Is the milk for mold?
it was really storming outside blowing wind I heard garbage cans getting knocked over lol yes this is for some mold on the blueberry I thought it started on the b dog but I don't see any on there but there are a few spots on the b berry conrad suggested using milk so im going to give that a go ill take some pics after she is looking good just got this mold thing going on this is a first for me since indoor growing my last two grows had wall to wall plants in that 3x3 but never got mold I guess some plants are more apt to get it!

I used milk a couple years ago and it worked for me! I watered it down: 1/3 milk and sprayed. It dried on and smelled milky for a couple weeks so you might try to rinse it off after 20 or 30 minutes maybe? I have been thinking about using it again, soon because I have seen a bit of mold, too.

GL dude!

you to bud!:)

Yeah dilute it.

Nice lineup you got going there Conrad. Your plants look healthy as usual.

add some silica to your watering and you can foiler it on.

Pro-tekt - will make the leaves tough and pests wont like them. Strengthens stems too.

Can double up on it say 1 tbs or so per gal water and water in and or spray on. Hard to over do silica.

GL with it.

Edit - The protekt for you sticky and PM.

It’s always there both in soil and in my teas (stinging nettle, horsetail) and I couldn’t agree more on how it changes things for the better... but then I never grew without it :)

How often should the Barley-Kelp tea be used?

I use malted barley ground fine - add it to soil. Can scratch it in and water.

Kelp tea can foiler on and water in 1x weekly - weak mix.

Kelp tea I just take 1/4 cup of kelp meal grind it and put in a quart mason jar in water and into the fridge. The kelp meal reconstitutes with the water and the tea is the liquid. Can spoon the leftover kelp meal into your soil or compost. Both work great.

Some folks make a tea with the malted barley but I don't anymore. It can ferment so that's a bad thing for plants.

I find it at the edge of wheat field around my house, but it’s a common weed. I advise everyone to give it a try.
:thumb: We have a version here that is a large native tree with very similar properties (and called equisitafolia as well). It also makes an excellent antifungal foliar spray (as well as being rich in nutrients) - is that also the case with the variety you get?

ive heard that about the m barley that's why ill throw in my tea rite before I give it to my girls!

Horsetail is considered invasive so it grows pretty much everywhere.

Where we find it locally its at the edge of a overflow pond so moist soil. It grows right in with Stinging Nettles, another good source of organic goodness!

Horsetail is one of those plants that humans have been cultivating for 10s of thousands of years for medicinal reason. So when we got up an moved to another location we took it with us.

Make a tea for human consumption - its good for us and good for plants.
win win
