That was my thinking, and the plant living underneath still acts like it's getting plenty of light. Either way, I will learn something in the end.

Same here. They stay small, and they haven't shown any signs of not loving life. They have handled my heat issues much better than the sour d. I have seen a lot about hso bd photo, but little on the auto. I'm optimistic right now, and anxious to see how they finish.

If they finish well, I'm considering doing a full bd grow so I can keep the lights even. With how compact they stay, I should be able to stack them in on each other much easier than my current plants.
 
Little day 60 update.

I got a second opinion on the smell of the bubblegum, and didn't tell them my impressions besides the strain. They said the same thing I did...it smells exactly like watermelon jolly ranchers. Still a bit faint, but getting stronger! Can't wait to see how it smokes.
 
My glass is sure anxious for a taste of these blue dreams!

A decent camera is on my wishlist, but have a few more essential things in front of it...Especially a new exhaust system.

I know I'm not finished yet, but trying to plan for my next grow already. So here are a few of the things I learned: you have to try hard to screw up if you're doing the basics. Things do happen, but no need to create more problems if you're not sure what deficiency, watering, etc is actually going on. A quick trip through the forums shows how people can have opinions all over the board, and some that seem very reasonable, are actually way off. So stick to tried and true methods, and let them do their thing. They tell me what they want and when, and I just listen.

So my grow closet, I am happy with it except for the size. I have a feeling even those with 10 times my room say the same thing, and my goal is to maximize what I have.

Watering, it sucks! Getting them out every time is no fun, and always worried I will break it or something. Also, it won't work well with a scrog.

Plan:building a platform that will sit approx 12" above the floor, and it will have a simple wood frame with either plastic or metal grating. This will allow me to water in place, and easily catch runoff for testing. I am not sure it will help, but the added space and air flow under the plants may keep it a bit cooler, and won't have anything under my pots.

Seems pretty simple, and my cheapest and easiest solution.

Also, I'm going to build a couple screens to set above my plants. I'm going with an even simpler plan here. I will have a right and left, and they will be a simple wooden frame with finishing nails every 2" around it. Will use gardening twine or something similar, and just run it around the nails making the 2x2 screen. Just seems easy to me, and like that it will be so easy at harvest, and couple minutes to be ready for the next grow. Haven't made up my mind on what I'm using to hold it up, but right now I'm leaning towards the cheap adjustable shower or curtain rod.

I think that's basically all I'm doing between grows, and plan to have it built by the time my harvest is over so I can just install it, and pop seeds right back in my pots.

I'm thinking I will order seeds anytime now, and I'm leaning towards getting DP think different and heavyweight fruit punch auto. That will get me one fast and vast for free to check out if I order before that deal ends. So many strains, and it's hard to narrow down to just a few. I also still have one each chocolate skunk and cheese berry beans left...so little space!!

It's crazy how much the trichomes mess with the flash. This is the main cola, and it's completely covered in frost.

I know I haven't updated much lately, but has been a lot going on.

Day 67 from seed:
So I started flushing SD 1, and she will be getting the chop on Friday, or day 70. Nice and cloudy trichs, and starting to get a few amber.

Not going to be a huge harvest, but the buds are rock hard, and I'm optimistic about potency.

So the blue dreams are continuing to flower, but can't say I'm blown away to this point, but still thinking the quality will be good.

Got the cheese berry doing her thing in the back corner. Looking beautiful, and can't wait to get them a little elbow room.

So the dark horse, bubblegum is blowing up. I am really happy with it, and may get a decent amount off this sweet smelling beauty!
