Computer case setup in progress

The one that started to show is the only seed I found in a quarter bag of something called "the hog"...which I think the grower may have neglected a bit, due to potency, but I'm not really sure. I started that one Saturday morning, PT method.

I have 8 others going that came from a bag of really good regs that I just picked up, I posted a thread about them I was so surprised, and I like them better than the Hog actually. Those 8 went in yesterday morning, also PT method. I haven't checked them yet but will tomorrow...I'm a little too impatient to wait 3 days...

Roll them bones, ganja gods...gimme 2 females, why not!

Yeah I'm glad we use a big container for the cat, and I keep it pretty clean (and low). That's another good thing about the surrounding printer box, I guess!

I'm not going to try and put any more than two in there, I don't think...I am planning on putting two directly into the container that they'll stay in. I had considered trying 3 or 4 smaller containers, but I don't know if I can see sex before I'm going to want to use as much horizontal space as possible...I'm really interested in LST and want to start pretty early.

Thoughts?

I'd say do 2 plants or 3 at most till sex then pray you dont have all 3 females (thats the only time I'll say that ha) just because you dont have the room to flower 3 plants unless they were lowryder's but even then it would be cutting it close. Either way, LST is a good idea or SCROG in order to maximize your light coverage and the room inside the case.

Thats wha I thought, like OMM is a heat issue. Even possible humidity. Plants transpire alot and you won't have good circulation. Least be my thoughts. Looks good for a hide out tho GL Dude.

I would think heat issues as well as a smell issue if you are going completly stealth. Once those plants start to flower, you are going to have a hard time containing the smell. I think new growers as I did really underestimate how much plants smell and how much that smell can travel. Just something to consider...

Especially if you have forced hot air heat and the intake is close by lol... no need for airwick when your chronic fresh....

This is pretty much my last real update in this thread. Tomorrow I will get a grow journal started!

I finally found a nice store which wasn't too bad to travel to. I purchased their hand-mixed soil that they make fresh daily on-site, which has pearlite, worm castings and is all organic...she seemed quite proud of it. They also have a shelf full of various nutes for 50% off right now, I'm going back tomorrow once I figure out what I want. I also got an ONA block and tested it out by sitting it in the room I'm smoking in. Pretty nice so far!

Here's the soil:

Here is "the Hog":

These next two came from my bagseed, I started those a day later than the Hog and the taproots hadn't actually come out yet, but I could see the shell parting and they look healthy so I figured why not. I'm a little worried my cabinet might have been a bit colder than they liked, while the soil is next to the furnace and is plenty warm.

I also spent a few minutes looking at my floor speakers today. I'm liking the idea of using one or both of those more and more. The outside measurements are 22"h x 16"w x 8"d. I think there is room to do interior light baffles for the necessary intake and exhaust, keeping the exterior of the speakers clean except for the additional power cord(s) necessary. The fact that they sit right next to the TV, VCR, DVD, CD changer, receiver, Wii, hard wired laptop, and cable box ought to make hiding the wires a little easier, but I hope I'm not asking too much from the living room circuit. I can probably also put an ona block right in there. I have a lot of questions to answer about what to install, where and how.

The speakers are fairly shallow, I think they leave about 5.5-6" from the magnet to the wall. The bottom woofers are passive and don't have speaker coils or magnets, leaving a little extra room. I like the idea of having the speakers work, even though we don't use them, so I'm going to try that first.

I'll probably make a new thread for those too, something else to look out for!

Signing off for now, just in time to welcome the wife home :)

Stay high, friends! :ganjamon:

make sure you post a link to your journal here.

If you use the speaker I would leave the tweeter and toss the woofer and mid-range just block the holes with plywood painted black unless you can see through the screen. Cut the back out and throw some hinges on it.

OR stop growing in tiny places lol

Looks like you have discovered I nice new industry. Cant wait to see plants growing in those...

Here it is, the LINK:

Greenblood's Grow!

I just posted this up tonight after stealing a quick peek at my dirt...and I have a sprout!

I also have heat issues, it's true. I'll be thinking about those and trying to address them as quickly as possible. For now I've removed most of the mylar and one light, which has helped considerably, but probably not enough.

Anyway, I'm calling this build complete and now I'm finally in the grow journal section! I'll be back in this section soon enough though, I'm currently looking for fans for my speaker boxes. Couldn't find the massey fans at Wal-Mart :hmmmm:

Thanks for your support everyone!
