...the post-harvest taste. I dont care about massive yield if the buds taste like nutes. im going to try it with excessive flushing/leaching before harvest.

I think taste is more about genetics, and full term flowering & drying(curing).
I've never flushed, and my good shit tastes great :) My close friends agree :cheertwo:
 
Using good nuts should leave no bad taste. Does growing in dirt give it a bad taste? Bad taste is from other problems not cured right, bugs and cheap nuts. I've tried both ways flushed and not flushed if grown right no bad tastes.:peace:
 
Excellent Grow 420fied. I thought I was done and now I have to read the blue planet nute sog. I felt like I was in the presence of thc greatness throughout this grow. Thx for sharing.

Blue Planet doesn't leave any taste in my buds. Neither did GH or AN for that matter. Flushing is a subject of great debate and personally, I don't even think it's necessary. Sometimes I flush, sometimes I don't....and to be quite honest, I don't notice any difference in taste.

I'm speaking from experience over thousands of plants.

Finally caught up. :whew

Amazing grow, and this is definitely my guidebook. I've got a moderate amount of space, and no worries about specific plant # restrictions. Looks like this is the way to go. Any updated pictures or results, as I presume this perpetual grow is still rolling along? Thanks!
 
Yes, I will definitely agree i am using this as a blueprint....

i am nowhere near the thousands- more like the hundreds- and i thought i had it figured out but this just re-established the limits! by a very large margin.

there's such a wealth of info on the net i've spent years googling indoor methods and this is somehow the first ive seen hempy!

Question: prior to this thread i built an aero cloner that's been doing great but it leaks like heck...does anyone have advice on how they got theirs to not leak? I've used weatherstripping but my tubberware seems 2 b too mickeymouse for that to make a dif.

Read my 50 site DIY Aero cloner tutorial in my signature. Get some 4 mil plastic and hot glue it to the inside of your lid and let it act like a shower curtain. I show how it's done in my tutorial. Check it out and best of luck.

thank both of u fellas. both ingenious solutions to the leaking. Propogator- i cant picture that in my minds eye but was thinking of tinkering with the top and cutting the perimeter smaller w a knife.

what kind of glue?
so far super glue and silicon gel stick to the tupperware fine, but nothing is sticking to the plastic shower curtain for me....
 
i held a 4 wheeler axle together with a 2 part epoxy for a whole summer, and we give em hell down here... didn't like the colder months though....

I actually used Super Glue on mine.
