Just thought I'd put some proper white light pics I took this morning.Hey there, this is my first grow I've ever done, and my first time on the forums, and just wanted to get an idea from more knowledgeable people if I'm on the right track, I still have plenty to learn and I understand that. The plant I will link pictures of is a Northern lights seed that sprouted in to a seedling in late February and up until mid March I was using a very weak 18w LED seedling light and ended up getting very slowed growth for a while in the beginning. Then I had switched lights to a 1000w LED that actually uses(dunno the correct terms) 250-300 watts of that. I had no idea how big to allow it to grow before entering flower and I did some more research on my strain and learned that my particular seed won't get nearly as big as I was expecting it to, so I'm not sure but I may have flowered late, not sure. My friend that has grown years ago had told me to let the plant grow as much as I can let it, so that is what I was trying to do. Unfortunately I made a mistake of defoliating 4 giant headsized fan leaves near the top of the canopy thinking it would help get more growth in the lower portion of the plant because it was slightly yellowing. (I had not learned yet that it's natural for my original 3 fingered leaves to fall off) but instead of helping my plant it actually seemed to stunt it's growth pretty bad and it was looking quite "sad" so about a week ago I was suggested to flower it and now it seems to be much happier, although the old leaves that have 3 and 4 fingers near the very bottom of the plant seem to be dying at a faster rate, but I'm not overly worried since the only leaves dying are unable to soak up much light at all given their angle from the branch. This poor plant has also been subject to my failed attempts at taking a clone from her, having a hard time keeping them alive lol, so that's why some branches are gone near the bottom, oopsies. But I'd love feedback and anything I can do differently in the future, I really do love doing this as a hobby, so much to learn and do.
