PotChimp, what causes this type of color change? I'm assuming it's not entirely due to genetics.

Beautiful. Definitely eye candy worthy.

Wow maz! That's gorgeous coloration.

Good grief maz! Frosty enough? :laughtwo:

Solvents would destroy it for sure! No secret, I used extractions as a loose term as I have been doing a few different kinds. That particular was done via hand kief'd frozen popcorns, then quickly pressed for a second or two between parchment paper, on a hot plate around 300f. The quality depends on how clean your keif is. This can also be done with ice water or dry ice which I have yet to try the dry ice.

I have been doing "extractions" with just heat as well with great results. Another member did a write up on the technique dubbed "Rosin". Below is some Pineapple Skunk shatter made by pressing a small, dry and cured nug between parchment paper as mentioned. All the methods are like your best nug times ten! So flavorful! :)

Since it looks like we are on a little rosin talk.. here are some shots of some rosin made with homegrown SSH.
One thing I would like to note with the dry ice extraction being done to collect piles for rosin pressing, for best results you are going to want to allow for the kief to sit out and dry for a couple days. Then press the dried kief and watch the lovely goo spew :blunt:

You guys make this look so damn tempting. If I can keep him alive through my next harvest we're going to play with this.
