I remember those Oaxacan spears from the mid 70’s, I use to get them in so cal… Great memories . Probably paid $10 a spear.During the remodel I found these old pics from circa 73, This came into Austin in a large cheese wheel container. bought 1 pound and man was it great.
I give you 1972/73 arm length buds from Oaxaca!
Still have this triple beam scale!
Wow, I forgot how my Martin looked back then, it is showing it's use over the past 49 years, but still plays just a sweet!
It was this discovery that led my bud and I to take my VW type III and make a road trip to Oaxaca, we were in search of the magical arm length buds. Long story but we found what we were looking for, bought a kilo and made a lot of people happy. BTW, it was $28 a kilo.
Looks sinister.
Fastbuds C4 . 36 days from sprout. LOS, 18 hours light. It is showing black in the buds. Different pheno from the last batch I grew.
Gr865…great photo, excellent weed, awesome story. Just a bit before my time in 75 Columbian took over. Love the picture of those buds. I know who still has the scale that was stolen from our high school lab.
