From the original 5 plants from seed, on each plant I chose X number of clones, not the same number of clones off each but what I could get off matching clonable branches.
All 4 of the Pheno #1 clones and only one of #3 made it. Later at day 33 I tried taking clones off #'s 2, 4 and 5. Only #5 took and I have it in veg for monster cropping.
So that is how I ended up with 4 #1's and one #3. Do the best I know how to LST for canopy management. Only #3 is shorter and requires a taller stand, but that's cool.
At this point it is what it is and just do the best I can with what I have to work with. Not a SCrog person, I do Vertical grows,
This is a time related grow, have commentements this spring. Will get back to vertical after I finish this grow, do my trips and the Pheno #5 Monster Crop this summer. Not sure if I am going to do LST with the Monster Cropper, attempt a SCrog or if what I have read about monster cropping is true their may be enough matching branches to do a 16 to 24 plant SOG. Never done one of those might be a fun grow.
I am hoping to get 16 plus zips off this run, got 17 + off the original vertical run. Need to make me some pain meds for my back.
So, symmetrical was not an issue, yin and yang have to wait until I am back Vertical growing.
I hope this made sense, I just did a big fat LSD Pheno #4 joint and it is delightful.

here is Diesel x Cheese at 7 weeks, the smell is unbelievable sweet like a ripe cantaloupe.
