You say I lose 50%... ok... Here's one stem... once dry minus 50% = 3/4 zip.

Didn't even make a dent on the chop.

Maybe not 10 but not 3-4 either.

Dry weight is actually 1/3 of wet weight ,great buds whatever they weigh every ones goal needs to be quality first ,yield is second,genetics will play a part this is the "secret " to getting max yield.

C99 Day 66 chop. Left a few underskirt buds for a reVeg. This pheno was definately on the hazey side. Good thing i luv me some haze.

Wet trimming is for commercial buds imo.

Dry Trimming, or even better Cured Trimming is something everyone should try if they are looking for the fullest aroma profiles.

Easy to do, just remove any petiole you can get your trimmers on, dry and cure as normal, and then trim when it's ready to smoke or gift out.


For water loss to weight conversion, the best number I've found that matched consistently was .225 for multiplying by. 1000g wet = 225 dry

I haven't weighed any wet buds in some time, but I did weigh this one. Main cola was about a pound.
