Nice one....looking forward to seeing what happens next:thumb:

I did have a couple of photos outside but one of the things I've learned from this year's trail is I need something bigger than a 25L pot if they are going to get anything like that big.

At least the little autos are still green though....

You got to put them directly in the ground, this is the trick :thumb:

Wish I could bud.....the ground is just peat and the only soil I have to work with is what I can carry out there. The one I put in the ground went south straight away so next year I was thinking about making a bed of soil on the ground with a barrier that will stop roots but not water. Then over a number of years of adding soil I should hopefully end up with some new "ground" to put them in. Might take a while at a couple of hundred litres a year though :)

Here is a couple of blackberry that are 4 months old I started from seed and 1 clone of sour desiel. This is my first clone ever.:tokin:
The blackberry is 5ft.tall and 81" in diameter. was topped once and tied over twice and the clone tied over once. The only fertilizer I have used is chicken crap.

Been battling outdoor elements like rain for about 3 days now. Also had a big family of wasp to move in a couple of months ago.The wifey said to leave them alone that they would keep the pest problem down.To this day I havent had any issues.Hoping they will finish in time for the southeastern US climate.

This fall, topdress that peat with the right amount of limestone, gypsum, soft rock phosphate, and some volcanic rock powder, and you could have some great soil next season. :thumb:

I shall endeavour to find those ingredients and give it a go. I'm guessing the idea there is to add buffering capacity, raise the pH to soil levels and add some minerals? I have been trying to read up on LOS but couldn't figure out where to start.

This year's effort at planting in the ground.....

About 3 weeks between pics there.

Yeah. Way too acidic. :laughtwo:

But peat is a great medium to amend. All you need are the right mineral ratios and some humus and you can end up with a really nice soil.

I uploaded these yesterday but got kicked or something before I could post so might as well use them for this weeks.

Still doing alright but everyone is crammed up against the walls, some heat curls. It is very thick in my room right now, I dare say some of the thickest I have ever had it, I can't shut my door all the way. A little misjudging. :)

Re: Female seed experiment

female seed experiment #2 to preserve the genetics of the best strain I have encountered in my years of growing.

freebie; Dutch Passion White Widow freak pheno.

Using Tiresias Mist method, she is now in water near a tray to catch the pollen.
The bottom of the plant is still outdoor to do her thing.
