I harvested one of the Cherry on Top a few days ago. It was the smallest one in a 3 gal. I still expected a better yield then what I got. It might be 1.5 oz. at best .... lol. Oh well, something to smoke. Not worth weighing it. One of my Peyote Wi Fi looks done also. Totally cloudy with about 20% Amber. I'm still leaving her till Monday to make sure it's ready. I should do OK yield wise on those as they are packed with bud.
I should be harvesting a plant every few days come Monday. It should all be harvested within 10 - 14 days.
I'll get a few pics up tomorrow of what's left.
I'm prepping stuff for my next journal now. The Do Si Dos is putting out it's first leaves. Trying to get it big enough so it's not a really slow start. Hope to see you guys there. I'll put a link in this journal once I start it.

I sure have been reading some really good Old Threads the past few days. I really like the Smokin Moose threads (RIP) !
These are some of the best I've read. Now I have to try to get links to all of them & put them in one thread for others.
Sure wish I could have known him on here. Seems very knowledgeable. I know the veterans here have read his stuff.
But for those who haven't.... they should check it out. Highly recommended !

I'm starting it on the 1st so I will do invites then. Don't want to start too early as the 1st week or 2 of a plants life is kind of boring. I took pics of what's going on so I'll put all the info in. I'll be glad to have you along ! It will be my 1st SCROG ever so I hope I do OK... lol. Have to try everything once; or I'll never know what could have been.

If you don't have to tie your buds up they are too small.
I love when you bring them out and untie them and they flop right over on the floor. I'll check out your lst. I do all the time . Spread them out fill the tent and stay out of the the light.
Those buds are absolutely amazing. I see plant of the month for sure.

I don't think I'll ever get that title. Usually don't even get a vote.... lol. My photography isn't competition quality by any means. I need a Tri-Pod & additional lighting to get good pics. I shake too much.

I disagree, sorry. Look at your pics. From a foot - 18" I can zoom in and see each trichome. I have a hard time doing that on mine.
Anyway just a thought. Great work

your pics are bang on mate. its ok being the worlds best photographer but look at the McDonald's Menu pics then the beat up burger in your hands !. lol pics lie period. I think it has become a photography not a plant comp now. I grow amazing weed in an awkward environment with so much devotion and enjoyment , a pic can never show that truly. dont stress it brother . you have nailed it with these beauties.

Yes it has been a photography contest for POTM. But for April it seems to be going to the biggest plant & not the prettiest picture. Haven't seen that happen in quite a while now.
I personally think that contest should be based more on size & cola's. But, only outdoor growers would win unless they had one for indoor & one for outdoor. Can't grow a 12' plant that yields 3 lbs. indoors unless you have a school gym to grow in.
I'm not concerned with winning any contests really. I only enter once in a while & to be honest it's mainly just to see if I can win some free nutrients so I can try them in case I'd like to switch. I also like the Geo Pots. I'd like to win a few 5 & 7 gal. bags. Don't really need any lights as I have 7 or 8 now & pretty happy with what I have.

You've had some pretty nice grows also. I've seen some of your stuff. I do more reading then commenting on others journals these days. Too many people giving different opinions & advice so I started staying out of it. There's also a huge influx of new members again with the same old basic questions again that most growers can answer. A lot of the members I talked to 2 years ago are gone. I hate that part because you build friendships with experienced growers & next thing you know... they're gone.

Anyway, I wish you the best on your grows & smoke a fatty for me.... lol.

High guys ! It's feed day so I'll be checking Trichs again. I think 1 of the Peyote Wi Fi should be done... but we'll see.
I wish I could figure out how to take pics with this microscope. I click take pic, but have no idea where the pic goes. Never shows up in my pics. Need to do an internet search on how to use it right.
The seedling Do Si Dos has almost completed her 2nd set of leaves so it should be ready for the new journal on the 1st.
If any of you have experience with a SCROG grow I hope you'll join in & give me some advice as it's my 1st one.
If I chop today I'll take some pics before & after to post.

Nice result buds. Some nice yield there. nothing worse than trim jail. hope your using the trim too ?. just made some top notch hash from mine Pics in journal) and love the Old stool joints and tastes

No, didn't use the trim. Threw it out. Not sure what all you can make with it. Tried making butter once but I think I made it too strong & the cookies were terrible tasting. I think I used about 35 gr. trim to 2 sticks of butter. Figured it would take a lot more since it was trim.
But the Hash sounds like something I would be interested in. I'll have to see how to make it for the next trim. Thanks.

More then welcome. Seems here lately the site has gotten a lot of new members who want to learn to grow. Figured I'd try to help out. I'm no master; but I have 4 years growing experience so I can pass on some knowledge at least.
