ColoradoKid Soil Autoflowers - White Widow - Critical Jack - Auto Jack 2014

Mine is 8 weeks and 4 days since germination. Some trichs are amber on the top part but lower down they are still clear for the most part. Sweet Seeds says 8 weeks from germ to harvest. I'm going nuts waiting for the right time. I don't think I do very well waiting for a photo period strain. Even those take a while from clone. It would take three months and even longer when you consider growing a mother to the right age to clone. Naturally, I am a novice at this and might not have my time for a photo period exact but like autos they can vary in their times too. I am doing what I can to learn what I can and this is a great place for that.

You are right on about the waiting. It is hard to wait because we get excited and want to know how it is turning out. I have been known to trim a small popcorn bud from the bottom and smoke it to see how it is coming along. It is easier to wait if you have some bud already though. What you said about lengths of time for different strains and phenos to grow is very true. Clones grow faster than seeds and they produce a bit more than from seed is my understanding. I should pop over to the retail store and look at their clones. Just to see what they have growing.

Last night I watered the White Widow and the Critical Jack because they were dry. The others were fine for water.

:wood: pics of health :bravo: NICE GIRLS ColoKid :high-five: & :nicethread::circle-of-love::420:

trich edit: wanted the 420 kid up top, it's all about altitude up here. :lot-o-toke:

Great (auto) yard Colo, weed is stronger up here, I gotta get to a lower altitude now.

LMK if my welcomes pimpin' Fluxy are overboard, I'm happy to tweak it for you & the 420 staff:circle-of-love:

Very nice! Can one FIM an auto to increase buds or does it grow too fast to produce better yields?
great question ziggy :high-five:
Grows too fast, wouldn't have time to recover
:thankyou: for that "jump in" ziggy and I have the answer .:high-five:
What is the life span of an ao? I don't know a lot about them, except they are faster, more finicky and they don't follow a veg/flower cycle. I could be wrong about my limited info too. :Namaste:
Morning Mr. & Mrs. CK! :circle-of-love:

:thumb:another great question! High PinkyGreen :goof: :passitleft: I have never grown one either. been reading a little, I'll bet the answer is already here, lol , but 50 to 80 days is maybe, possibly, would I might have remembered.

I am surprised by the Critical Jack. She had a spurt of growth and is very close to the White Widow now. Both of the Dinafems are doing very well. The Bubblelicious is doing good as well. The Jack Auto is a strange plant. It is still very small. Kind of like my Himalayan Blue Diesel was. That one was only 10 inches tall and not much bud. But what it had was excellent smoke. I will try to put up a few new pictures later. :Namaste:

Great job man

I watered the White Widow and the Critical Jack with some nutes on um...the 27th. The Widow is showing just the slightest tiniest bit of nute burn. I will give all of them just water tonight. The Jack Auto is way small. Like the Blue Himalayan Diesel was. I am kind of mystified by the Bubblelicious. It is much smaller than the previous grow of them. Different pheno I guess. I hope that everyone is having a good weekend. :thumb:

My nl auto fems were really slow for the first two weeks but really cracked on at week three,I'm led to believe the roots are doing all the work to start with, getting about the soil!,I was tempted to bring some darkness in but stuck with 24/0 ,pics at three weeks, but I took those three days ago but there's been more growth since,I will post new soon. Thanks for you earlier comment,by the way...

Skoda, your plants are looking very nice my friend. :goodjob: They will get bigger soon. They start out slow while they build a big root system first. Then they grow bigger. Thank you for the pictures. :thumb:

grannyT you are a gem. :circle-of-love: I really need to post some more pictures. I have been way busy with real life lately. I appreciate you my friend. :high-five:

I would use a 18/6 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness lighting schedule. I read a study where lighting schedule versus root length was tested and plants grown under a 16/8 lighting schedule grew the longest roots, 18/6 was not tested. I was made aware of a study where lighting schedule versus growth was tested and plants given at least 5.5 hours of darkness grew the most.

I gave them some water and nutes last night and defoiled them today.

Oh man they look ok,I can smell them from here!

They smell wonderful. The best smelling one is the tiny Jack Auto. It smells like a sweet fruit/citrus smell. I just want to put some in my mouth and chew it up.

Laughing at myself. Several times I've wanted to just bite a piece off, LOL. It looks so tasty. I'll bet it's not. But, still... I wonder...

Obi my friend. Don't tell anyone but I have done that in the past. I just put a small bud in my mouth and chewed it up. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't pleasant either. Just an FYI.

Oh, and I did swallow it too. No buzz from it. :yummy:
