Funny you have that idea because I have an idea similar to that as well haha but that would be a cool experiment to do forsure!

I have so many ideas in my head for growing comparisons. I love the experimentation aspect of growing. I love the ideas of trying to isolate factors and maximize those factors from certain training techniques on certain strains, to temperatures, to light cycles, etc. But to do those I need a lot more room!!

Exactly, it's hard to do with a smaller space. I think I still need a few grows under my belt before any more experimentation or what not anyways lol

Definitely! But I tell you.....the more journals you follow, the more ideas you come up with! You see a new strain....or a new grow method, or a new training technique, or someone will ask a question and then you get to thinking "Hmm...well instead of that, what if I did this?". LOL....dude its never ending.

Yep I've done this countless times. I have about 30 pages of notes in my laptop. I'll get a nugget on the forum and go write it down because I'd damn sure both forget the nugget of info and where I found it.

So I have been smoking for about 5 years now and dabbing for about let's say 3. I love herb and nothing will ever compare IMO, I'll start off with that. I also have had times where I've only dabbed for a while and honestly I like just smoking dry herb and only dabbing occasionally. When you start to dab a lot it will definitely take more herb to get you there which kinda sucks and you can't appreciate the herb as well.

I will also say there is nothing that will ever smack you like a fat ass dab though and it is nice to get slapped every once in a while lol

I've never been a huge dabber though. Call me old school but I'll take a good bong rip of flower over almost anything.

I travel the mag mostly on my phone and I just take a screen shot of the info. That way I get the page, thread, and the information I need. Plus I always have my phone on me so information is literally at my finger tips. Have made special folders in my gallery to keep it organised. But it also helps to have a good memory...except when I smoke Durban poison then I have a memory lasting about 10 seconds lol. So coloradokid has that to look forward to depending on the amount of DP in it. Great smoke though.

I unfortunately have had a few periods of heavy concentrate use and it wasn't good getting off of them I'll tell ya that. It has taught me to really appreciate flower though on the bright side

How's it going everyone?!

Veg girls are killing it so far.... last night I just FIM'd all the tops sticking out on these girls. About 5 per plant and on the Durban maybe about 8 places got FIM. Durban girl also got plain water last night.

Right now these girls are all around 15 to 18 inches from the soil. I plan to transplant to 10 gallons and spread them out a bit more before flip.

Also had a thought of trying tomato cages this round. What's everyone's thought on that?

Veg girls are killing it so far.... last night I just FIM'd all the tops sticking out on these girls. About 5 per plant and on the Durban maybe about 8 places got FIM. Durban girl also got plain water last night.

Right now these girls are all around 15 to 18 inches from the soil. I plan to transplant to 10 gallons and spread them out a bit more before flip.

Also had a thought of trying tomato cages this round. What's everyone's thought on that?

Girls are looking great Kid! I have no idea on the mater cages. I don't even use them on actual maters, never thought about using them on cannabis. Give it a shot on one and see how it goes!

I have as well and that's where I got the idea! My only problem is I might not have the height because of being in tent so I'd have to modify the cages to make them a bit smaller if I did them

The only times I have seen tomato cages is for training for outdoor plants. I have thought about using them inside and growing a tree. Basically a vertical SCROG. I'm all for it of you have the room.

I understand the uniformity thing completely.....though sometimes for experimentation purposes its better to run side by side with the different factors.
