Colombian Gold Grow: Come Learn With Me How To Produce Your Own Seeds!

The cuttings look healthy and appear to be drawing energy from the leaves to build roots. I'm pretty sure your'e good to go especially if they're being kept at those temperatures.

I was just checking out the plants in my flowering tent. I had to snap a pic of the main stalk of the Sensi NL X DDA plant. She looks very healthy so I'm wondering if this is an indicator of a problem or genetic?

I would think that’s the purple hues coming through from the DDa on your stems! Looks healthy and very nice colour!

That's what I was asking about...........the dark pink/purple stripes on the stalk.

I meant that I don't think it's a problem. I get the stripes on some plants. I've read it can be a deficiency, or genetics, or some folks see it as a sign of a strong plant. I lean towards genetics.

Just finished applying the colloidal silver onto the selected branches on the Quarter Pounder plant. I am brushing the CS onto a total of four small branches. Three are still very small, maybe 3" long and each with a total of 4 nodes onto which pollen sacks are possible. The fourth branch has been growing better and straight up. I think if I'm to have success on this breeding project it will be on this branch. I'm being sure to brush a little extra onto all the nodes on this 4th branch. I took a couple pictures showing the area I'm treating. This first photo shows the long branch right in the center of the photo.

The treated branch it the large one towards the right side in this picture.

I'm being diligent and I hope my diligence pays off with some boy parts.

I'm noticing that the treated branches are starting to turn a sort of browish color. The new leaves growing out in the nodes are being brushed with the CS and they are looking a little rough. But they are very young and not grown out yet. I've got 2 more weeks to go during which the pollen sacks can appear at any time.

I have a few different strains that have naturally purple stems, drove me nuts when I first started indoors.
First time I saw the color in my stems I went a little nuts. Started reading online furiously and looking like a mad scientist with my magic elixir bottles to fix the plant. Plant turned out fine after getting over all the junk I poured in there...

You know, i am a pretty big stoner. Not sure why i didn't think immediately about the name of the father strain... Columbian Punto Rojo (Red Point).. red streaks on the stems, red petiols, and finally rose colored sugar leaves...... lol

Genetics for the Early Miss are :
White Widow x Big Bud
Assuming that’s what you have - considering EM is meant to be an auto and you definitely got a photo... who knows what the genetics are really. I guess it could be a photo version of the EM, but it looks pretty different - which could just be the lack of Rudi genetics I suppose, that would make the plant a lot prettier and yours is certainly pretty :D

Hey beez :ciao:
