Colombian Gold Grow: Come Learn With Me How To Produce Your Own Seeds!

If I'm going to shoot my Special Super Soil load on a single 10 gallon tote it isn't going to be an autoflower plant. Maybe if I went the three 3 gallon pot route. I do have my last three VooDoo Rodeo regular seeds and do need to see about making more seeds with them as it is my favorite strain for a strong, sedative smoke and oil. It is a 2:1 THC/CBD strain running up to 18-20% THC and 9-10% CBD I've heard seeds made in a grow with all natural organic soil and teas are a bit stronger, better seeds. I don't know one way or the other, but it sounded good to me when I heard it.

I'm not sure I have a couple SSDC but I'm almost positive I have one.

Okay, yes, I do have two of the SSDC. I will be doing some auto flower seed breeding at some point in the future and may include them.

Colombian Gold Female (seed mother) Update

I think in a relatively short period of time you'll realize I have no clue how to take nice photos of a cannabis plant. With that said here are a couple three pictures of the female Colombian Gold plant. She is in very good health and look about ready to start putting out some pistils. She is not stretching much at all which kind of surprises me.

I'm marking on my calendar right now that she has some pistils showing. If that other plant is a boy he has about 4 weeks to produce some pollen or we're moving on to the clones for the seed making project.

An update on the Boston Terrier Cannabis guard dog we're fostering. If anyone has ever wondered how quickly a 5 month old Boston Terrier could destroy a new roll of Bounty paper towels the answer is just under 5 minutes. Just long enough for me to do a few dishes. First picture showing him shredding away......he had already looked up at me (I said nothing to him) and proceeded to start tearing it up again like I wasn't even there. Second picture is 5 seconds after I said NO SIR, LEAVE IT! It's impossible to really get made at him let alone stay mad for more then a few seconds. He's going to try the patience of his forever family probably for 3 or 4 more years. He's super sweet, very smart, and has a great personality.

First picture.....like he doesn't even know I'm there.

Second picture....."What? Did I do something wrong?"

Oh, and he carried the roll downstairs from my office to destroy it.

He's been here now I guess for 3 or 4 weeks. He arrived here with absolutely no training whatsoever. No potty training, heck he didn't live in a house he lived in a kennel. But since he has been here he has peed on the kitchen floor near the door twice........that's it. One time I know I was lazy and didn't take him when the alarm went off. He's a very good, albeit mischievous boy and although he's a pain in the butt quite often I will miss him when he's gone.

This is why you always take cuttings from plants when you are attempting to breed them. I'm hoping that the second Colombian Gold plant turns out to be a boy. If it turns out to be a girl well those two plants can't be used to make seeds. If that turns out to be the case I have to resort to............

PLAN B

The two big clones on the left are from Plant 1, the known female. The two on the right in the back are from Plant 2, the unknown sex plant. And of course the two girls in the front row waiting to grow out some roots.

Garden is looking great buddy!

You have a few alarms going in your retirement! You probably thought it was time to put the domes back on ;).

I'm a bit up there in age, but I haven't lost it quite yet. The clone alarm quit several days ago when the domes came off for good.

I take my photos with my phone too. I crop sometimes to get my bare feet out of the picture but other then that I don't do anything to the pictures.

Lol!

Definitely do the 10 gal Beez...im astonished how Bob does it in the 7's(?) he uses. I'm just now trying out a 10 but usually try to keep 15+ to maintain the herd and keep them happier. I suspect my 10 will require more frequent tweaks here and there! Btw I'm in same soil..
