What beautiful growing. I’m not going to lie, while a beautiful plant hooks me in, it’s honouring the plant that keeps me interested in a journal. You grow with such love, respect and pride. I’m just sorry it took me this long to run into you! Lol.

You sir are a beautiful grower inside and out :)

I'd like to see a DWC Solo Cup, lol. Not the kind I used to do (Solo cup full of expanded clay balls, with lots of ¼" holes for the roots to grow through, jammed into the hole I cut into the top of a ~23-gallon reservoir), but a self-contained one. I assume it would require regular root pruning?

I can't chew bubblegum at all :( . That's what I hate most about the denture thing. That Bazooka Joe parody made me sad, even as it was causing me to LMAO (that was my brand ;) ).

Is this a good "place" to ask the general audience if they think it would be worthwhile to grow autoflowering strains in Solo cups (possibly in soil)? A mix of strains, mostly sativa-leaning hybrids, but one or two that are supposed to be more indica-leaning (and one that the breeder pretty much warns growers to run a 12:12 light schedule, even though it's a legitimate AF, unless they have really tall ceilings and lots of time, which sort of called my name when I read that, lol - so it should be more than sativa-leaning).

Yeah you’re right. This was just teo days in trying catch two plants in a Solo “Airpot” up with a Solo SIP 3 weeks ahead last month.

Its in a Mars Hydroline 12 all in one with light thing.

I had to shave the roots and the holes aren’t big., as you can see from a build photo.

@Cola Monster not meaning to hijack just weirdly could show TS the relevant. 😅

I’m putting my dirty farming fingers into a DWC/Hydro tank to use a pair of trim scissors to cut off a whole bunch of roots that grew through the tiny little little airpot holes I made with my solo airpot hole making tool I made pictured below.

Technically I should have been disqualified the Dynomyco Solo Challenge. Roots not allowed to leave the pot.

But everyone who entered won. So I got a prize through as Homer J. Simpson once said. “the two sweetest words on the English language - by de faulti

But yeah I am def doing DWC in a solo again! Its mental good!

Kool. No issues far as chems added to such little cup. . Bet that was long process to figure out ratios

Not really, I only use a small amount of nutes every feeding since they get watered a couple times a day. I also like to give them a fresh water (6.5ph) flush every 2-3 weeks which up to now has worked pretty well. :thumb:

Good to know. Cause I never thought a 5 gallon pot was a good size. Went down to a 3 gallon .plants seem to like it better. Really need two gallon size plants I grow. 2ft ones. I don't grow trees. Or bushes.

As I get older I want my plants to be small not big & tall and why I went solo for the time being. I get anywhere between 1-3 ounces per plant on average which is enough to get my by for a few months until next harvest.;)
