Cola Monster's Perpetual Rock 'n' Roll Grow Journal

Wow - she is an early bird! :yahoo:
She looks at least two-three weeks ahead of anything I'm seeing.

Beautiful plants Cola. Is that a strain you created?

Morning Blaze!
Nope, this particular strain here are seeds that were gifted to me a few years back from a friend & I thought I'd try just to see what type of flowers they produce.:yummy:

Hey Major!
She sure is and something I've never seen before this early in the season. I now have to make up separate feedings for her and her sister plant who are both showing signs of flowering & I wasn't prepared for trust me. Grrrr!:lot-o-toke: Once again, ya live, ya learn!

Evening Cola.

Nice gift. I'm still hanging onto my New Blue Diesel seeds. I only have 3 regs left. Will only pop them when I can go perpetual. Hopefully soon(ish)

Do you clone your favorite outdoor plants or always start new from seed Mr. Cola?

Afternoon Vlad!
Sometimes I do & some I don't which all depends on if I'm growing indoors or not. It's just way to much work during the summer months running two greenhouses on my own than having to take care of clones that most likely will just end up in the garbage.

Having your own seedstock is the thing basically. Once you can pull every year without need to buy any you can start your plants any time you need and you don't have to care much about clones. You start 20-30 more seeds and you find a keeper in 4 weeks tops.

I believe you have a fine seed collection, CM. These plants are kicking into flowering very early for Sonoma latitude. My bud's from SoCal Grape Ape was finishing in August or early September, but these plants are pretty rare. Someone did a great breeding job here :bong: :thumb:

AMEN my mate! Spot on. Seedstock is essential. Cuts are good. Seeds are better :)

I can't wait to seal the deal on a property with no neighbours. Throw up a hoop and grow 15 big mofo's. I've got land I'm looking at potentially digging 15ft deep and doing an underground greenhouse on ;)

Walpini style, I always wanted to give it a try for long flowering sativas :thumb:

Very nice greenhouse. Very large plants. Business as usual at CM's place. One day I'll go pro and build a big setup.

Cheers

With our water table, a 15' deep hole would be about 7' underwater.

At -15', you'd certainly be living up to your screen name! :)

Afternoon mates!:high-five:
I apologize for my brief absence but I've been busy as a bee here running around with my head cut off trying to keep all the girls watered on these hot days we've been experiencing lately.:phew::phew: Glad to see you all chatting with each other trying to keep the show alive.:thankyou:

So on that note here's this weeks photo update from greenhouse #2 with all the ladies starting to fill in nicely. Enjoy and have a great day folks!

@vlad:
The two shots below are some clones I took after first transplanting my girls outdoors and are now going to waste since I have nowhere to put them and why I normally just start over from fresh seed stock every year.
