Cola Monster's 2015 Indoor Jilly Bean Grow Show

Hey there mates!:high-five:
Just a quick musical update for my journal of the babies before I send them into a 12/12 cycle for sexing purposes in which you'll see that I flipped on my other 600 watt lamp since the plants are getting bigger and to also provide a bit more warmth over the canopy during the cold winter nights. Enjoy and have a good evening all!:blunt: ~Peace~C.M.:ganjamon:

I thuroughly enjoyed that man, it s so nice to see great looking plants and some good "tuneage" too make a guy feel at home, seriously very calming!:thumb::thanks:

very nice indeed, thanks for the show. i do have one question. assuming you started with 10 reg beans how many were male/female ?

Welcome budchopper!:welcome:
Of the original 12 seeds I planted 5 of them turned out to be males after sexing leaving me with 7 healthy mothers to clone off of for my next crop. And on that note here's some updated still shots of the girls after getting settled into their new home.:morenutes:
Thanks for stopping in and have a good evening!:high-five:

Love those umbrella hoods CM. I have some of those I used to quite a bit. Really even light. I used them with my 1000W but now use smaller hoods with my 600w.

I am constantly impreseed by your jillybean's structure. Seems like a joy to grow. Just a beautiful bushy plant.

Thanks Shiggity!
I like the vertizontal hoods myself when running my 1000 watt lights as the dissipate the heat so I can get them closer to the canopy. Light intensity equals bud density in my experience!:cheesygrinsmiley:
And I love the Jilly Bean strain also as it's a bushy little plant when topped early on and throws out some nice size colas come harvest. One of my all-time favs. to grow.:thumb:

Thanks again for the kind feedback and have yourself a green evening! ~Peace~:ganjamon:

Those plants are getting nice and big now. How much does this strain stretch in flower?

They'll stretch another six inches so I'm thinking once going into flowering which should be in a week or two if all goes to plan. It's been a while since I've grown this strain and would have to back through my records to see exactly how much they stretched and maybe I'll do if finding the time.

Ok, so not much stretch at all then. I prefer plants that double in size, which works well for my impatience during veg. LOL

Hey mates!:high-five:
Please if reading this post raise your pipes, or bongs as it may be, in peace and harmony for a fallen friend of mine who suddenly passed away in his sleep the other night from an apparent heart attack we're thinking. He was only 56 years of age plus a good soul who was fine one day then gone the next and only goes to show that one shouldn't take life, friends, or family for granted.:roorrip:

Rest in peace my friend!:rip::rip::angel::angel::hookah::hookah:

Well, You-Tube muted my video due to copyright infringement so I'll try again tomorrow with different music playing in the background. Have a good night all!

I'm sorry to hear about your friend bud. On a positive note though, going in your sleep is maybe not such a bad thing. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.

Anyway, my condolences.

My weekly inspection tour of the girls as they begin day 64 of vegging from seed. Enjoy and have a green evening mates!:green_heart: ~Peace~:ganjamon:

Will you bloom those big girls in that same flood table?

Yep! I'm watering by hand this grow with any overflow draining into a 5 gallon bucket I have on the floor at the end of the tray. I just keep it in there since it's hard to get out for one thing but to also pull a hydro grow if wanting. Before flipping the lights to 12/12 I'll remove the plants from the tray and wipe it down so as not to get any type of mite infestation during the flowering stage.

Oops! I forgot to post some photos of my 10 day old Jilly Bean clones with their beautiful white roots starting to protrude. Have a good night all! ~Peace~:ganjamon:
