Coffee Tries To Grow Again

@TwelveCoffee - I think once you get this coco thing down you will find exactly what I have: coco is easier than soil! More work? Yes, but all that is is more watering, big deal. Once they have like three sets of leaves you simply water the hell out of them (with feed every time!) and watch the show! It becomes way easy as you see all the concerns you used to have with soil simply aren’t in play with coco. You’ll have fewer buGs, too in theory.

When you're in a drought, however, and your tap water isn't good quality in the slightest (like we've actually tested unsafe levels of lead, and other metals) Bottled water becomes a giant expense! I'd love to try a coco plant, they sound awesome, and more bang for the buck, but sadly water is expensive!

Oh, and when you CalMag, wait 10 mins first, then add the PH solution to 5.8, and then the rest. or PH last I don't quite know how the PH part goes. lol (as I don't PH)

My main issue right now personally at least is having less time at home and not being able to water properly I’m out of the house normally by 4:15am and don’t get home until 5pm normally. I enjoyed growing with coco just need to be able to water it same time every day since Julia is off now I’m probably going to get her to water it.

I hear you on that before reducing my ph is around 7.5 no idea what else is in the water but the plants aren’t complaining so far.
pH adjustment would go last unless your water's pH is so far from normal range that your nutes won't even dissolve!
Yes I learned that was phing first round it to be a bad idea and waste of product. With that being said to Calmag or not to was kind of nice to only to mix one jug for everything but not a deal breaker.

In other news I have now arc flashed myself look like I just smoked a huge blunt oh well hopefully it’ll be better in the morning if not it will be half way threw the day but for now some shades and a dark room later sorry if this sounded super rambly I can barely see right now lol

Yeah I'm waiting for my break down. Just want sleep. Doesn't matter how anymore. After 50 years I'm tired

The way I was taught by @Bill284 is CalMag, no need to wait (@Emilya explained why to me), add all nutes, ph last. In my case, the PB chart as defined, once in flower, automatically sets to about 5.9. A few drops of PH down and I’m at 5.8 easy every time.

Get yourself a drip system setup.
It Can be a drama to dial in but once you have.
Watering in coco becomes less problematic.
With work I don’t think I could go back to.
Hand watering in coco it’s a real commitment.
When there asking for 2/3 times aday feeding.

I was close to going back to soil myself.
Some months back but my choice was
DIY drip instead.

Alrighty good news got a scale so 0.7g of Epson salt added and now super accurate measurements for MC for Death Bubba and the other good news is until RH becomes unstable again due to heat waves etc we’ve finally reached 60% flat!!! I expect by tomorrow it’ll shoot up but small victories. I don’t know how often I’ll be posting over the next couple weeks due to work could be doing 7 days in a row very soon but with that being said I’ll reply to the best of my abilities and I also do follow a lot of journals so if I don’t post please know that I am reading responses and messages just dead tired love you guys stay sexy!

Got some early frost coming in there! If there is a way to lean those tallest colas over they will thank you. :)

You could even just use pipe cleaners and tie it to the cord as it goes out the vent.
Thanks shed I’ll give it a try tonight or tomorrow, I thought I had to work for a second tomorrow lol was freaking out in my head lmao. RH is sitting at 58% I know it won’t last but I’m smiling like a kid who was just given a bunch of $0.01 candies lmao how was your week my friend?
