well lights just went out so I guess ill see how they look at lights on i use my probe style ph tester i check my soil i stuck one pot and it went to 6.5 quickly then just as i went to take it back out it started droping it stoped at 5 WTF ive been crazy observative of the ph of the water im feeding with and ph it after nutes are added kept at a strict 6.5-7 so what gives any ideas I use FFOF soil with about 2 cups of perlite mixed in each pot 12 inch pot not sure how much soil is exactly in each pot where am i going wrong here

That ocean forest stuff is supposed to be ph appropriate for MJ. If its that low the nutrients may have something to do with it. That's a really strange situation man. The ffoc is supposed to be great. I'm using scotts supersoil and that stuff is crap for what I'm doing with it. What kind of nutrients are you using? I know I'm a newbie but who knows, I might stumble onto something.

Soil is supposed to provide a buffer either way but WizHigh showed me something that blew my mind. It had to do with the ph being way out of where it is conventionally supposed to be. If you're familiar with this member (which I'm pretty sure you are familiar with him) you should pm him about this. I see the curling you're concerned about and my blue cheese ladies had some of this really bad too and the ph wasn't off by very much (6.0-ish). I would flush them, if it were me but to be honest, I don't think its a ph issue. I'm not saying its definitely not a ph issue, I'm just saying I don't think it is. I think its a case of a little too much nutrition...

fox farm tiger bloom a lil cal mag+ and molasses its crazy shit i guess im gonna flush in the morning at lights on but damn whats droping my ph so bad i thoght ffof was buffered

I used FFOF my last grow and I had some low PH levels. So, this time I added 3 TBS of garden lime to 3 gallons of FFOF. Also put 1.5 TBS of Organic Bone Meal and 1 tsp of epsom salt and mixed with some water inoculated with microbes ("new plant thrive").

I will be growing ICE with this mixture. Time will tell if it makes a difference...

all i know is this shits pissing me off im having to flush way to much shouldnt have to flush ever other week but its what ive been having to do mybe ph my water a little higher? idk shits annoying
I feel you bud brother. It gets very annoying. I only flushed once and it was because of the same thing you're dealing with. Curling... I did however, put 1 tablespoon of dolomite lime into the soil a couple weeks before flushing. After the flush all seemed better. The lime takes time byte will help with ph buffering. But to be honest, I think the ph is secondary. It very well may be a problem but I don't think its behind the curling.

Hate to track of the issue your having now, the story from yesterday wow. Thats some stuff you see on cops.
I always thought it would be hilarious if I saw my dad on cops! He'd be worth hours of entertainment.

Yeah, you're right. It ain't funny when you're looking at those bastards in your face. Sorry for bad vibes man.

good weed cnd, like I said before, sativas aren't big on nutes. so cut back on the feeding. maybe 1/2 to1/4 strength after you flush. if you do flush. as far as ph have you calibrated your tester?
