Tasty little Cyndi was topped yesterday and appears to be doing well.

I thought that this was a good picture of Pepe.

Lookin' good there. Angie is looking about 1/2? done? She's definitely putting on some weight though. I think you need to start working on a second space for the wee one...I dont think the flower corner will be ready for her :)

:peacetwo:

I would say that you are correct mouser. Somewhere around 1/2 done.
I was trying to get to some of the yellowing leaves in the back and noticed that
she actually smelled like tangerine. So it did happen once. Lol.

The wee one has her own light and space. She spends most of her days outside though.

Cheers mouser.

I don't add anything to begin with. Part potting soil and part
dirt from the dirt pile out back. Lol. Scientific I know.
If I don't want to dig in the dirt I will just use all potting soil. I use FoxFarm Happy Frog
or Ocean Forest soil for the potting soil.

I won't add anything for 3 weeks or so. Just depends on how big the plant is and how she looks.
I know, I know, more science.

I use this to get started. I doubt that it is available in South Africa. No idea though.

It is time released but I apply it slowly over time so that it builds.
I also will supplement with Cal/Mag and various bloom boosters.

I will get to my personal journal and copy the water schedule I use with this plant and others.
That may give you a better idea.

I will help you in any way that I can Pat. I want to see you enjoy the grow.
I find it very therapeutic when I can just look a plant for a while and not
need to do anything to it. Maybe it would be for you too.

Cheers friend.

For me, I just use what is easy to get.
I have the luxury of a little space so I can reuse dirt. Saves money.

It is just a time released fertilizer. Think Osmocote only cheaper. Works well though.
I like to feed slowly over time. I never do anything in large quantities.
I usually don't feed twice in a row unless the plant is telling me to.

I switch up the bloom boosters because, well, no particular reason.
I like amount of potassium in the fishy bloom booster and I like
the amount of phosphorus in the Miracle Gro. When I can't decide, I do a little of both. Lol.

The Miracle Gro lets me add phosphorus with only adding a little nitrogen.
The fishy stuff lets me add phosphorus and potassium with no nitrogen.
The time released fertilizer adds nitrogen all the time. Sometimes enough on its own.
Works for me. You will find a little system (habit) of your own of what works.

I add Cal/Mag here and there because every now and then the plants will not have
enough calcium. Not usually, but enough that I like to prevent it.

Lol. Almost talking in circles there. Rosie is rising from the ashes and smacking
me right in the face this evening. Powerful stuff.

If you need me to translate any of that, let me know. I"ll try. Lol.

:laughtwo: Made perfect sense to me Ditch. You garden casual, with an eye on the plants. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

LoL no brother I got that perfect appreciate it alot :passitleft:

I won't be much help on PH issues for soil. I never even check mine.
I pay out the nose for good water, it better grow plants. Lol.

You will have to see how your water works with soil. If I remember right the water
at your new place is good? Perhaps I am just unwittingly pulling that out of my ass.
