Closet Farming With Barney's Gorilla Zkittlez, G13 Haze, Triple Cheese & More

:laughtwo: that’s funny... the ‘guys’ thing irks me, and it’s only in the dictionary like that becasue some guy decided it should be a universal term. A guy, is still a guy and I ain’t one! Lol! I’m fairly used to everyone using that way though...

But ‘buddy’ I’ve never had a problem with and never even thought of it as a ‘gendered’ word at all. I’m as much of a buddy as the next guy ;)

Yep - definitely the skittles lookin like the fresh prince :thumb:

I always thought you were a dude and @Pennywise was a gal.

I think that I remember something about word usage and the making or alteration of new and previously used words. If a "new" word is used in writing it is first called a citation. The dictionary folks go through citations to see if their frequency of use is enough to warrant its admission into the dictionary. This is how the word D'oh was added to the dictionary. Guys must have been used enough in the all inclusive fashion to meet the criteria.

I respect your point of view on the word and how it's personally applied to you. Like I said, I really don't like being called a dude.

On Usage here’s a thing that amuses me:
Round my way a bloke’s bloke is your stereotypical beer drinking, car obsessed misogynist.
Shakespeare used ‘bloke’ to refer to the submissive man in a male homosexual relationship.
FWIW

Where I'm from they are called "Motorheads" or "Loadies".
That sir, is hilarious. I love Shakespeare, maybe a little more now though.
They found a bunch of pipes outside of his house, dated from his time that were full of cannabis resin. It's cool to think that he loved our plant too.

He was a man out of time like Nicola Tesla. Far beyond the understanding of most of his contemporaries.

Crap, I'm sounding lucid again. Time to smoke.

Fantastic DD - I didn’t know that about bloke. I’ll often use bloke’s bloke (or man’s man) to refer to a gay man, partly as a suggestive play on words because I know it does usually get used to describe “stereotypical beer drinking, car obsessed misogynist” as you say. I like seeing poeple’s brains tr7ong to process it :laughtwo:

I’ll never call ya a dude VG, I promise!

I always thought you were a dude and @Pennywise was a gal.

:laughtwo: For all anybody really knows, I could be! :hookah:

And I didn’t mean to sound so serious in my post :nerd-with-glasses: ... I wrote a small thesis on the advent of language and changes in word usage in English, in particular around gender and stuff, so am really fascinated by it :D

 I always think that urban (bush) myth got started because a very stoned koala bear fell out of a tree onto someone and freaked out!

Honestly, once while sitting around a campfire one night, a little sugar glider dropped out of a tree and landed on my friends arm. They’re tiny, like only 10cm long, and it ripped up his arm pretty good while it was freaking out trying to get off... and while he was freaking out too! So if that happened with a Koala, then you be toast I reckon! :laugh2

Best koala pic ever.
They sell sugar gliders here for pets and they are all so tame but the wild ones sound formidable for their size. They are so small and quick that I could see removing one as problematic.

You may enjoy a podcast called The Allusionist. Great for filling your earbuds, well worth a listen

I have my first pistils showing today on the GZ. Yay!!!
I should probably get my carbon filter back in the tent soon. That GZ is going to be a stinker.

None of my other grows had plants with leaves this shiny. GZ is drinking a lot. We are currently at day 12 since flip.

I'm liking the Fox Farms soil and Mega Crop combo.
I'm going to move my extraction fan to the very top of the tent today. I need to make room to raise the light. Growth seems compact so far, I'm still keeping the lights at 24" for the time being.

Your plants are loving it,too! They're looking perfect,VG !
That tomato cage was a great idea-it's going to work out nicely for the GZ...
Are you going to use cages for the Blue Shark & G13 Haze?

Plants look great and love the pistils! And it's good that you and MrS are buddies again since you share the MegaCrop/FFOF thing :).

I had to pull my canopy rings off the Candida because everything was a mess, and the plant flopped to the ground! Half a bag of pipe cleaners along with some bamboo and I can now get it through the shed door.

I'll go with gang from now on, or y'all. Or maybe yous.
as the next guy
LOL!

Who does this surprise? Not this guy!

Oh yes she is! Looks like she has a bit of early purpling on the calyx. Looking great VG
I'm hoping for a colorful pheno. It was downright chilly in my bedroom last night ( no, I'm not frigid) ,hopefully it will help to really bring those colors out.

I think that I'm going to stake the little girls so they are easier to work with. I think that three of those cages would be a tight squeeze in my little tent. The cage also makes it difficult to water her correctly. I'm going to pick up a watering can with a long spout tomorrow.

Your plant looked like a limp marionette. Lol. I had problems with doorways during my last grow. I couldn't get the plants out of the tent without breaking them so going through a door was a big negatory. This is why I'm going for much smaller plants this time.

I vote for yous.

As far as Sauga. I only pick on those that I love. Plus he's super fun to tease.... you know what I'm talkin bout.
