CKS Blueberry Grow

My two cents...most of the seed literature is a tad aggressive in advertising flower time. You should be fine. May go more towards 9-10 weeks.

Also, amber is a sign of the thc beginning to degrade. I like to harvest when I start seeing 10 - 30% amber.
 
What a beautiful plant. Doing my 1st BB grow. Any advice you can offer to get results like this? Gonna watch through your grow journal as I get through mine. Best journal I have every seen. Thanks a million.

I agree with Golfer on this one. Flowering times have been alittle exaggerated on just about every strain I've ever grown, these people have our interests peaked''''... What better sales point. Why they all give a variable. Figure the long end plus abit anyways. And maybe in a prefect world and having grown the same seed 100's of times and got it all dialed in, but the first go around is always the learning plant of the strain. But then same seed outta the same bag can express totally different phenos and totally different flowering times. But don't they have some great writers in the sales department..... All you can do is grow the plant the best ya can and see. GL Keepem Green
 
All seems to be doing well. I was able to snap a couple pics this morning before work. And thank you for reconfirming for me that it takes longer than advertised to get a final product.

I have an issue with "patience" too ;) lol....love the frosty sparkles myself, looks like they are coming along nicely.
 
You see the plant start to take off. And hope that it begins to snowball. But like you said. Patience is what wins this race.

The girls are looking amazing!! I see you said they smell amazing, what type of smell are they giving off at this stage? Anything fruity yet??

They are most certainly fruity. I'm highly surprised it doesn't have much of a "normal" bud smell. It's very fruitful and sweet smelling. I certainly see where the name blueberry comes from.

Sorry DirtMan! Haha I just got the app now was my first post from it.nice that's what I was hoping to hear :) mine are still babies but I can't wait! Really hoping to find a nice mom from them :)
 
I've kept it under wraps. Just in case something happened. But I did manage to pull 2 clones from the plants. I have been keeping them in a cup of water under a CFL. They have really taken their time getting to root. Which is perfectly acceptable for me. Being as I only have one spot to veg and flower. My hopes are that they finally pop some decent roots around the time I have to harvest. So that way I won't have much down time on the tent.

The buds are pure white. Like cotton balls. First time I've ever seen that.
I've seen white hairs but not white bud sites.
But every thing else looks normal. Dark green leaves and a nice coating of frost.

How close is your lights ? It could be light bleaching. This happened to me years ago when running air cooled hoods with 1ks. There was no real heat coming off the hoods so I had them super close and all the tops of my buds turned white like they were bleached! Is it happening on the further away buds as well ?

My lights are close. Very close. Like 8-10". But they are Mars hydro reflector series. So it's not a very strong light. I'm not seeing any other kind of bleaching or burn on the leaves.
I'm almost thinking it's just how the strain is.

I don't seem to have a heat issue. 80 to 85 for veg. 70 to 75 for flower. I have a fan controller so I can independently control the speed of each fan
 
It might be light bleaching. I see most people keeping even low watt LEDs around 18" away. I just found a few threads about it. Might want to back them off a bit people also say when LED lights get to close it stunts the growth.
