ok I'm gonna roll with 2 week update before I don't do it again I had last weeks uploaded last night and did yesterdays one tonight

so without further adoo
and ill do yesterdays res change in another post so here we go

for those curious I use botanicare pure blend line nutes with amendments some amendments are modified with different products

this thing is growing like a creeper plant as youll see in this weeks update on the next post

royal salute I started it way too early lol so some lst is being done and side branches in this weeks update are starting to catch up

gsc clones next seed project and I'm gonna reverse a clone off the bagseed and use some pollen on one clone
and ill do it to itself so ill hang on to a couple for awhile and ill grow one of the 4 out

What are your thoughts on LEDs and how close you place them to your plants? I see many of your girls growing right up into them and they sure look no worse for the wear.

Cronic uses Advanced Led LEDs Bob. I have one of their lamps and they run pretty cool, not hot at all.

Thanks Brotha gsc isn't a big yielder and my gsc bagseed is growing like a creeper plant
well see how it turns out lol
I'm gonna cs the cali connection plant grow out a clone even saved 2 small buds way at the bottom of the plant I'm gonna try and reveg and monster crop if its good I figure I can put it back in veg if I like it keep it there if not get rid of it
but I'm gonna clone and cs the gsc bagseed also and I'm saving a cali connection clone one of them to pollinate with
the bagseed pollen of course 2 to cs and ibl then 1 extra clone to grow out.
the gsc bag I'm just taking a couple cuttings and take the best to cs and pollinate the cali gsc
ok I'm rambling lol but that kinda the plan for now I wanna take a few cuttings off royal salute later just in case its a keeper

I really love my leds my first 2 ds 100's are still going over 3 years and no problems
right now I got the 2 ds 100's, 2 150 xml's and one 350 xml in the bloom tent
advanced led's run fairly cool theres a lot of other lights led's that run hotter
and longevity makes it worth it not having to switch out bulbs every year
runs cooler and yes sometimes my plant get into the light and I do my best to keep it off
id say safe up to 6 inches from the light but I have had some plants bleach at that distance and others that didn't
but it really isn't an issue its just visual doesn't affect the smoke the problem with the top going into the light is
condensation from the plant then the wet spots get burned from the light its not a lot
main thing is keeping it off the light, other than that distance is no real issue I like it close as I can get it
I lose spread towards the bottom but I think I have good enough yield for my space 4x4 with 5 ft of height
less than that minus the lights and buckets, but a good plant will still yield the blue dream x gdp I grew was over 10 oz and at a 14 week total and that wasn't the only plant in there just the one that took up the most space

I'm using t-8's to veg and my cs project exact same light
theres 4 bulbs on 2 fixtures in the cs box theres 4 fixtures in the veg tent with
8 t-8 bulbs
I usually only run 1 fixture in veg tho once in awhile 2
seeds take the normal time to mature the buds aren't as big on the small cs clone
part of the reason is I'm not putting everything I would normally put on my regular grow
just minimal nutes and keeping the plant as small as possible
the bulbs I'm using are actually really expensive for flouros
litro grow light, full spectrum bulbs 25 watts a piece
its the same fixtures and bulbs I started with in my first journal
over 3 years still going but since I don't use them all I do have extras just in case

Hey Chronic, I have a T5 HO coming in the mail soon, 4' 4 bulb 54w each, 6400K, Blue spectrum. How far can this light take a veg grow? If I wanted to change out the bulbs to a red spectrum 2700K for flower how do you think my colas will turn out? Fluffy or semi-hard? I plan on using this light for seedlings & clones for the first month of veg and also to grow seeds. Your thoughts please.

this royal salute isn't from royal seeds this came from mendicino county California
someone was there bought some before they returned gave me one to try out
I think he just wants to see what I can do he said it was a real expensive seed like 25 bucks a piece hes growing out some himself
its looking good tho and its getting a long veg time cause no bloom plants are done
so well see how she does

you can veg under flouros for as long as you like considering flouros don't have the penetration so maybe not too high
as far as buds they wont be as big density I have found has a lot to do with genetics
mine are full spectrum so I can use them for both as far as timeframe I think the height at a month might be doable at
1 month
