Your own journal gives you the ability to look back on good and bad situations. How to hopefully solve the deficiencies while growing decent bud. I chose the Promix with the Growology nutrients because of another journal by a new, turned almost pro overnight, member here at 420 named Denise. Check out her Wild Thai plant she grew, the amount of resin on those leaves/buds was astronomical. Anyway the ability to choose everything my plant gets was also a big decision because Promix is a soiless medium allowing lots of oxygen to the roots along with providing the exact nutes they crave. I've been really happy with this system and for the foreseeable future I don't plan on changing.

It's really fun to look back where you started cause it gives you the perspective needed for improvement. Nobody's perfect but we try to strive for as close to perfection as possible, or at least I do.

The clones have begun to take up nutrients because the leaves have begun to start growing again. They'll get a 6-8 week veg time before going into flower so we'll be able to work on these plants to get them to produce a good yield. The third clone I received I put into the flower closet to try and get her to go back into flower. Possibly giving us a few buds from that plant. we'll have to transplant her into a larger pot after a while but I want to see what happens. Experimenting is FUN!!!

The clones have taken off, they're very green and beginning to prosper.

Those clones are gonna be awesome I can't wait to see them get really big. They are really fascinating to watch grow each day.

Great job man, your garden is looking awesome! 8 weeks veg on those clones should get you 2 big bushy girls! Top'em a couple of times each and quadruple your yield. I can't wait to see Laverne & Shirley flower. Great Job Brotha.

My eyes aren't that good, I'm not sure what I'm looking at in those photos. Do you have a magnifier? I bought an inexpensive 40x jewelers loop. It's not the best for taking pics but it works great for viewing with the naked eye. It also has a LED light on it so you can illuminate what your looking at.
Yes I watched all those shows, Laverne & Shirley, Happy Days, Andy Griffith, Gilligan's Island, Welcome Back Kotter. You get the idea. Suddenly I feel old and feeble, Where am I? Who are you? I just pooped myself.

I haven't been able to get the new pics up, but they will be there later today. I really screwed-up Laverne letting her main stem to get burned. It has stunned her and I'm not to sure what's gonna happen with her.

The leaves have all died around the top of Laverne from the light burn and I decided to get rid of them and she looks real funny right now. Until I get more pics of the leaf removal, these are gonna have to due. The pics of Shirley are fantastic, unfortunately I damaged Laverne and took her out of the running; in terms of trying to get her caught up.

Hey Chinnubie, Laverne will still make you meds and Shirley is doing great, not to mention you still have 3 clones that will get bushy if you top them a couple of times before you flower them. By the way, last night I was able to confirm that 3 of the 4 LFs in veg are girls so I'll take some cuttings for you. Don't worry, here shortly you won't have to worry about running out of meds ever again. If need be, we'll set up the other veg box and get you some in different phases so you can keep the grow going.
Other than the mishap with Laverne, everything is going great.

Place your hand underneath the light bulb and move your hand to the point you can not feel any heat and move your light above your canopy to that level, raise the light as your plants grow.

I have new pictures of the girls and clones. The plants look amazing I am so glad I decided to go with this style of medium and nutrients. They have already begun producing trichomes. The clones have just about grown out of the veg box we have to keep them in, which means we need to start topping them to keep them contained until we can get them into the flower closet in roughly 5-6 weeks assuming the PK gets harvested by then. Without further babbling, here are the latest pics of these lovely ladies.

The top on Laverne has really come back with a vengeance and may end up giving us a better cola than Shirley. With all thing growing we'll have to wait and see. thanks for coming by and taking a look.

They have really jumped. I'm gonna have to start topping the hell out of the one mediwana to keep her from coming out of the top of the box. I never thought I'd have this much going on and it's great to watch them grow, especially the clones because that's a new way to start a plant for me.

I first tried germinating in sponges but that was a disaster.as soon as I put them in pro mix with growology they took off like rockstars

Hey Chinnubie, Your garden is outstanding my friend. The Medijuana's will stretch on you if you don't keep the lights close. Topping helps but if you try topping and keeping the lights no more than 4" above you should have more success with internode spacing and hopefully keeping them in their veg box. Just a suggestion.
