Hi I would like to grow weed indoor in DWC hydroponic system. To do so I connected with tubes 3 reservoir, so when I fill water in one reservoir it will fill the two others by communicating vessels. Each reservoir volume is 18 liters but I think that I won’t use all the volume so lets say the total volume is about 45 liters (Max). The ambient temperature can reach to 31.5 Celsius degree during summer. To test it I chilled the water in one reservoir (14 liter) to 20 Celsius degree and after one hour, when the lights are on, the temperature reach to 23 Celsius degree. I wondering if Hailea chiller of 1/20 HP can handle with it and keep the 45 liters below 24 Celsius degree or is it better to buy 1/15 HP. I am looking for the cheapest option but reliable.

You can get by with a 1/20 but I recommend more. I use a 1/10 to cool 40 liters and it works really well. I'd say get a 1/15 minimum.

Thanks, if I use the 1/10 so the the electrical consumption will be higher or lower because it chill the water faster?

It will require more electricity to run, but it will run less often. It might not be exact but your electrical amount should be the same.
