Chief's 2nd Try: Kindsoil Round 2

Auto Update:
We are on day 45 i think it’s definitely done growing vertically. Now I just hope the nugs get fat. She is also super frost. From the breeder they say it’s a 65-75 day strain so we prob have another month left.

Group shot of veg tent. I think I will be doing more quadline training later if I have time.

Veg Room Update:

The Mountain Oranges are moving along nicely. I went ahead and tied the down the 4 branches and removed like 4 of the fan leaves that were sticking straight up blocking the new nodes. I’m trying to follow Ase’s quadlining we will see how it works out for me.

The PBBs are stil babys not much going on with them. But this is definitely the strain I can’t wait to find a good pheno. It’s going to be a keeper for sure.

The Purple Bagseed is yellowing at the top it still scares me but I read somewhere that yellowing is a sign of root production. So I’m hoping for that.

Garden Update:

The auto’s colas are getting pretty fat I think we are on day 40. It’s a 65-75 day strain I’m hoping for the shorter but it will be ok to go longer. I just want it out of the veg tent. Probably won’t be growing another auto because I like to get the most out of the space I have and I don’t really think the auto allows for that at least without training it.

The Bagseed has been 12/12 for about one day. The colas are currently about 9” y’all at the moment one is a little taller than the rest but not by much. The clone I took is still alive so I’m happy with that I doubt it’s rooted or anything it’s only been 3 days. I also labeled the pics wrong they are supposed to say Bagseed.

Cookiehoe is doing well the 8 tops are about 5-6 inches tall. I’m going to let it go to about 8 inches and flip it. I really didn’t expect much side branching from mainlining but it has really surprised me.

The Mountain Oranges are doing ok. 2 of them are doing something weird but I hope they growing out of it. I tied the four branches down I think I’m going to quadline this round of plants.

The Peanut Butter Breath all sprouted and are looking pretty well for seedlings. They have a little stretching but it will be ok. I really can’t wait for these.

You're gonna love the quadline chief

Garden Update

This update is mostly for the big girls since I haven’t shown them in a little. I thought I had my timer set to go 12/12 for a while but aparently I forgot to hit the timer switch. I guess I might have been a little high. :ganjamon: It’s ok the girls just got bigger. I guess we are on day 8 of Flower today.

The Bagseed main tops are like 12-14 inches. The stalks are really big. I’m really hoping we get a lot of purple bud but only time can tell me. This is by far the biggest plant I’ve grown. I can’t believe it’s in a 3 gallon pot.

The Cookiehoe is staying pretty squat. It’s sitting on top of a box to keep it level with the bagseed. I’m just hoping for some fat nugs. Last time the nugs were pretty small with the scrog.

The Beary White auto is trucking along. It smells so good. We are at day 51 we have about 2 to 3 weeks left before it’s supposed to be ready. I’m hoping for shorter so I can have some more buds but longer will work.

The Bagseed clone looks like it has made it the roots are big and look to be spreading nicely. Kind of proud of my first clone. I think I’m gonna set a buddy up with my old lights and this clone to get started.

Yo Chief.....that Beary White is looking great brother! Beautiful cola on that thing.

Everything is looking top notch man! Kindsoil is treating you well!

Thanks Van. This is prob the frostiest thing I’ve grown yet for sure. And ya def no complaints on the Kindsoil. It makes it so easy. Takes all the guessing out.

Quick Update:

The garden is looking good. It’s Day 55 on the auto. It’s starting to drop leaves and they are turning yellow. Also not many white pistols most of the hairs are orange. Maybe a chop coming soon. The one I’m most looking forward to is the Bagseed I just don’t know what to expect. It’s a monster compared to my other plant. The colas on the bag seed are like 16” I have to remove a few more fans to mak some light for the lowers. Both the cookiehoe and the Bagseed are mainlined.

You've got some great grows under your belt Chief! I hope my first indoor grow (my first grow in a almost 20 years, for that matter) goes half as well as you obtain routinely.

I used to grow outdoors when I lived on the windward side of Oahu, Hawaii. Those were (almost) mindless grows because environmental conditions were essentially perfect - brief & mild light daily rain, rich soil and plenty of sunlight. I now live in a very hot and very dry climate... which requires an indoor grow... which requires the micro-management of basically everything. That said, its a fun challenge.

Thanks man the soil does all the work all I have to do train fill the space. That’s why it’s hard for me to switch to coco or something because this is too easy.

I really like your form of stems:love:
subbed sure!!!

Autoflower Update:

Today is day 60 from seed most of the fan leaves are dying. The buds look really good and are covered in frost. The lowers are super frosty also. I can’t wait until this stuff cures.

I don’t have anywhere to dry when I cut this plant so I took a cardboard box and put a pc fan on it and some strings to hang the colas. I hope this works well it will be my first time not having a empty tent to put it into.

Auto flower harvest day:

I went ahead and did a pretty decent wet trim I’ll finish it up once it dry and can go in jars. The box was pretty big I can definitely fit more buds in it. I hope this is a good drying method. The veg tent can now really be a veg tent. Here are some final shots before going into the box.

Flower Update.

The girls in the flower tent haven’t been shown in a little while. They are doing really well. I like how big they are getting I’ve nvr had a plant this big lol. The Bagseed looks like the Calyx are turning purple already. I’m hoping for straight purple buds but we will see. Nothing much to say about the Cookiehoe but it’s looking good.

I do have a question on the about defoliation at the bottom the the Bagseed it’s super dense. I know it will be super fluffy stuff. Do you guys clear all that out?

Flower Tent Update:

The Purple Bagseed is looking good the calyx are definitely purple. I did a major defoliation of the lowers that just weren’t going to make it or was making it too crowded.

The Cookiehoe is looking good also. It has a really nice structure I like it better than the scrog I did if it.
