Thanks CHH I think I better get the sulfur evaporator out. It's not getting any less humid here, so any cola I grow that's bigger around than an empty toilet paper tube is gonna wind up getting grey mold.

My brother just had to take 3 due to rot setting in

Good day PotChimp, would you talk about the sulfur burners? When you should/can burn? Is ok to burn during veg & flower? Thank you PotChimp for any info you would like to share. To me this seems like a great way to combat PM.

I think I got the info from something Doc Bud posted. I wait until the third week of flower to run my sulfur evaporator; during veg I don't get much branch or leaf clustering and those areas where air circulation can't get between the nugs (always the top colas for me) are where the dampness builds up and bud rot (then later grey mold) starts. I put the evaporator on a timer for 3 hours during the dark cycle; I imagine you could do it during veg, but I'm not sure if I would since I'm going to do it again in flower. I put 1 tablespoon of sulfur prills (small chips of sulfur) into the bowl and hang it about 16" from the top of the tent so the fumes will float downward onto the plants. You have to keep the tent clean and the humidity down after the sulfur burn or the grey mold spores will return; don't quote me on this because I'm probably wrong, but I think the sulfur vapors only suppress the spores and render them dormant, not kill them. It's damp around my area of the world right now.

Thank you for your time and the information. :Namaste: :adore:

It gets into pretty much every tiny crevace there is on the plant, so yeah it does. My guess is that the transpiration happening in the next 5-8 weeks of flowering (depending on the strain) rids the plant of the residue. It's probably the reason that this is done so early in flower also.
Oh, an important note I forgot to add above - turn any air circulation in the grow area you're treating off to make sure that the vapors do coat the plant surfaces instead of being pulled away by the fan.
And it leaves a residue directly above the burner (the burner doesn't get very hot by the way) that I put a wet towel on and wipe off afterwards. It's better to move the plants out when you clean that spot because some of the crystals will fall on them if you don't.

Here it is hanging in my grow closet with the C4DD grow:
