Chef De Green Does It All: Reveg, Clones, Autos & Photos

G’day Chef! :ciao: I see you saw me coming :battingeyelashes:

I dropped in on page 48 so anything before that I’m ignorant to.
All the plants look fantastic and your SB is definitely helping to get me fired up about mine. I havent knowingly had a diesel strain before (although i grew something called MoneyBush which smelled like petrol bubblegum in flower, so maybe that was one - it was fuelly anyway!). And I am crazy about this Bubba Hash I grew. I’ve been seeking hybrids that suit me and that one really jumped out as a winning combination. From the sights and sounds in the gardens of everyone growing it it seems like we’re all going to be pretty stoked on it :ganjamon:

Loving all the adventures you have going on and especially that big pile of new Coots mix soil you’re cooking up. I’ve just found someone here (and not too far ways, almost local) who is making ready to go water-only super soil that is very similar and probably based off the Coots mix. He sells an ammendment kit like that bit also the premixed and cooked stuff. I’ve just bought some for me and a buddy who I’m helping get started with growing. I’ll transition to it slowly as I finish up the supplies I already have, but I figured a water-only soil would be a great way to learn for a first timer - they can concentrate on environmental controls (it‘s indoor) and on watching the plants :) ANd we’ll have Teas for if they’re needed, exactly like you’ve described your own approach.

wow- slightly long ‘subbing-up’ post, but I’m subbing up!

Thanks Amy!! I wish all my “subbed up” posts were that long!

Beez’s sponsored Peyote WiFi journal was a first run of coot soil. He used water only, start to finish. No teas, no nothing... other than the weekly barley hull top dress(I think). I bet you a premade amendment pack that you mix into a base soil blend would work great. Probably cheaper than the ready to go soil too. Only down side is you have to cook it yourself.

This Sour Bubba is my first encounter with Bubba genetics. As long as the buds on this plant tighten up and pack on some weight, I’m gonna be very happy with it.

:ciao: Hi ChefD, Going to take a look around, I am typing challenged so my sub is a lot shorter than Amy's. Thanks again for the water knowledge on the Star Pupil
:thumb:
Welcome Dynamo! Perfectly acceptable length! Happy I had something to pass along to you, that should be an excellent cross. If you can find something right down the middle of the terpene profiles with the floral clusters of the Star Pupil, she’ll be potent, stinky, and beautiful to boot!

Very impressive array you've got, Chef! You've "cooked up" some delicious looking plants. :Rasta:

Hey there GDB! Thanks brother! I’ll have to take some more photos today. The Grandpa Glue is now in full bud formation mode, and she is as frosty as the snowman.

i think I’ll do some baby shots too.

Damn you, Chef. As soon as I read your response I started humming Frosty the Snowman. Probably be stuck with me all day, in the middle of damn Spring! :laughtwo:

Hey Chef!

I've had a nice catch up on what I think I've missed, but I'm not sure if I read and forgot. Anyway everything is looking amazing!

Pop in by my journal, if you have the time? It's finally come to be

Sorry about that lol!
That's okay, Chef. I used to watch the animated video "Frosty The Snowman" a lot with my toddler. So the song is imbedded somewhere in the soup! :Rasta:

Classic stuff there brother. Just good old fashion Americana.

hey there burdok, thanks! I’m kinda losing my place on my updates myself... I think I’m just going to have to do a full double tent update and reset myself to where I’m at.

sure I’ll pop in bud. Let’s see what you’ve got goin on.

In my flowering tent I run a pair (two) of the HLG 260W V2 QB lights. The older of the two lights is about 2 years old. I started noticing the other day that the light was going dim for a minute and then coming back on again. Next time it happened I got up to look at it and saw that all the bulbs in the fixture were lit but were VERY dim. I figured it was just a matter of time before it went out for good. So I contacted HLG prepared for a warranty battle. Let me tell you what, those guys/gals are amazing. I emailed them on Sunday night. Monday morning I had a reply in which they stated they felt 99% certain it was the driver. They asked me to email them a photo of the serial number on the driver. Two hours later I get tracking information for the brand new driver they were sending me.

So top quality product, stellar customer service, and a warranty that is honored no questions asked. What more could you ask for right?

Wow that’s amazing service. Glad you could get that figured out. Luckily I haven’t had any problems with my panels. I’m positive the companies that made these ones I’m using won’t be nearly as helpful. Gotta get that nextlight goin

Alright let’s start in the veg tent. Not much to really say here, just vegging away. The IIP and LA Cheese are looking really good. The IIP has tons of roots coming out the bottom of her cup. Once she’s dry enough I’ll put her in a 1 gallon. The Cheese has a couple roots already coming out the bottom as well.
From left to right: Star Pupil mom, Sour Bubba mom, Cookies n Chem mom, It’s It Punch, LA Cheese, and a Northern Lights clone

Here’s the one gallon pots. They’re looking good and one of these Star Pupil clones will go into the flower tent when the NL comes down. Also, one of the Star Pupil clones adventured too close to the space heater. She got a bit burnt up but she’ll survive. Hopefully she learned her lesson. Left to right: Cookies n Chem GF, Sour Bubba, 2x Star Pupil.

Last plant in the veg tent; Cookies n Chem - PureGas pheno. She’s the last of her kind. I’m gonna flower her out and then I’ll be down to just the one, selected pheno of CnC.

alright, FLOWERS

The Xanadu is stretching good and looking better everyday. I’m super cropping her tops that get away from the rest.

Now the Grandpa Glue. She’s looking so delicious... truly one of a kind. I’m so happy to have this plant in my garden. I’ve got a cut that’s almost ready to go into soil too, so the cultivar lives on. This entire first harvest is allll me.

Now the Northern Lights she’s starting to fatten up and sticky up as well. Lookin great, just like her mama did.

Lastly, the Sour Bubba. She’s looking fantastic as you’ve all seen, I’ve been keeping you all pretty well informed on her. I think she’s getting a little denser each day. It’s a little hard to tell, but I think she is tightening up.

And that’s it. That’s the whole garden.
