Chef De Green Does It All: Reveg, Clones, Autos & Photos

Sticky is not kidding about organic weed. I tried some of his and it tasted better then anything I have ever tried. I need to let my Doc Buds Harvest cure a little and try that but to date Stickys is by far better then anything I have tried..... This grow is going to be Fun. Its a new challenge for me growing organic, I am hoping I will only need some Recharge and a little of the Barley that came with my Coots mix. Its also cool we will be running the same soil etc.

My goodness. Well, that was certainly a lot to catch up on but I'm glad I did it. My mind has been blown and my eyes have been opened a lot.
Thanks for sharing this with us, Chef. It has been truly humbling

Im flattered that you would go through all those pages, burdok! I hope there were some things there that will help you in your own garden.

There are definitely a couple tricks I've picked up from yourself and the contributers on this thread.
Keep an eye open for when I start my journal. I'd love to have you along for the ride! You have inspired me with your Star Pupil so I'm very tempted to grow that strain

Tag me if I don’t pop in right away! There are definitely some smart folks hanging out around here. Totally invaluable, all of em.

the star pupil is a real beauty. My other journal I’m working on reversing her for seed. I’ll also be making some crosses. That link is in my signature.

I'd love the opportunity to be able to experiment the way you do, but sadly that's just not possible unless I lived somewhere more secluded.

What I can do, however, is sit back and wait for progression while enjoying the marvels I see daily on this forum.

This won't be my first, or second, time growing. This will actually be my smallest project yet, as previously I was in a 4x4 tent with a hps, and before that a large cfl. I did very well and had a beautiful example of Northern Lights, as you did.

I also know that there is always more to learn and I'm very excited about the challenges this smaller sized grow will present.

I have realised that there is a local hydroponic store close to me and I hadn't realised prior to purchasing my light and tent. So I've decided to get the rest of what I need there and support my local.

P. S.
I wish I could cook, your recipes look incredible!

You can cook! Just follow the directions and Pay attention to the details!

Oh hey,

This morning I dumped about half of my coot soil out onto the tarp again so I could moisten it up a bit more. I probably added 6-7 qts of water. I don’t think I’m gonna have any problems keeping it warm. The stuff was very warm to the touch from microbial activity. It was probably something like 90 degrees. It’s cooking alright. The life in the lobster compost is no joke.

hey everybody,

it’s time for another veg garden update. I’ve got an update for the flower tent too, but I’ll do it a little later in the day.

i think I may have potted the Xanadu into used/unflushed soil at some point. Cause she’s been really dark green and slightly droopy since she got big. Last watering I flushed her with like 6 gallons of pH’d water followed by a gallon of MC @ 3g/gal. I think she’s starting to come through the abundances. Her color looks to be improving and she’s actually giving leaf lift a bit. Once she’s dry enough to transplant she’s going into a 5 gallon pot and on to flower. She doesn’t have much space in the flower tent, so I don’t want her to get any bigger really.

The Cookies n Chem - PureGas plant is look really nice now too. She’s gotten over her “stuck in a 1 gallon too long,” and is growing like a weed. Thing is, this pheno doesn’t get tall, she gets bushy as all hell. I’m cleaning up all her nodes as they come in, trying to get her to work on height.

My Dark Devil auto is looking to be the best one I’ve grown so far. Today is day 12, she seems to be getting to the point where her roots are established and she can start the above ground progress. Today I’ll change her rez out again, I think I’ll bump her up to 3g/gal from 2.5.

That just leaves all the clones. The two Star Pupil clones are looking great, just growing along in their 1 gallon pots. They’ll be the next two plants in flower after the CnC-PG probably, once the NL and the GG come down.

Here’s the rest of the baby plant fun. Left to right top then bottom; Cookies n Chem keeper pheno, It’s It Punch, Sour Bubba, NL, CnC mom, SP mom, SB mom.

That’s it from the veg tent. Things are coming along well. Like I said the Xanny will go into flower a couple days after transplant into 5 gallon. I expect to get that done Saturday if not tomorrow. Then she’ll be in flower Sunday/monday.

thanks Penny. Yeah she will definitely blow up. Especially when she gets under the CoBs. That’s part of the reason I don’t wanna veg her in the 5 gallon pot really. I bet if this girl was grown outside she’d be a massive massive tree. Something about the full spectrum just blows the blurple out of the water.

Edit: another benefit of transplanting directly going into 12/12 is that I dont have to water every day. My SB is starting week 6 and she needs water about every 3rd day.

Hay Chef are you going to use MegaCrop with your Coots soil or are you only using it with another soil ? I am hoping the Recharge and a little Vulx in the mixed soil will be all I need. I wont have near the amount of Vulx I should have for 50 60 gallons of soil but it cant hurt. When I ordered it I didn't look at the directions :( so it will be spread pretty thin. I think I have plenty of recharge I got the 8 ounce size and I think I am supposed to use 1/2tbs per gallon of water. If I see I will be needing more I will get it before I run out. Hay Thanks for the advise and subbing up to my journal.....:high-five:

Alright, flower tent update.

Lets start with the Sour Bubba. She’s definitely got some pistils maturing up, and she’s fully into phase 2, calyx and trichome growth. I’m thinkin 35 more days until chop, at least that’s what Katsu says. Considering she’s ECSD heavy, it’s possible she goes longer. I’ve ready 10-12 weeks on some of the bank sites, so maybe that’s why. The smell of her rub is definitely maturing into fuel. She smells delicious already. I’m hoping the Kush does come out of her though. Today I noticed a considerable up tick in her stickiness.

Next the Northern Lights. She’s still stuck in her corner. I’ve taken to not moving my flowering plants at all, just seems safer for now. Maybe I’ll get bamboo sticks in the future. Not that this girl needs it, but the plants around her do. I don’t know really what much to say, the pictures speak for themselves. She’s getting frosty and fat like she does. Just a dream to grow. Just as her mom before her, she’s been dropping 8-10 fans out of her skirt every couple days. She looks great though, getting frosty as you like.

Last but not least, the Grandpa Glue. This girl is looking so promising. She looks like she might not yield huge, but I can just see the quality of this girl being out of sight. I gave her a bit of a defoliation, nothing much 8-10 leaves. I did the same thing to the Sour Bubba actually. I also needed to tie up two of the GG’s branches to try to make some space for the Xanny. This first picture is how much space the Xanny started with; basically nothing.

Now the Grandpa Glue

That’s pretty much it. Here’s a shot of the tent, this little spot has to be big enough for the Xanny, cause that’s all she’s getting.

It's been a while since I was here but plants are all looking sweet. I wish I had some place locally to get some of that lobster compost. Interested in your IIP. I've given most of my two crops from her to Sweet Sue but I kept a small jar because I really do like it. It's just damn good weed.

Hey there PC. No I will not be putting MC into my coot soil, not ever. I’m going to be doing water only.. mostly, I’ll be making a compost brewer in a month or so, and at that point I’ll figure out how often I want to use the tea. The tea I’ll be making will be earthworm castings and kelp meal... and maybe rabbit manure at some point.

thanks for dropping in Jim! I really lucked out with the local store that carries it. That IIP is going into coot mix, so she’ll be expressing to her full potential.
