Chef Chucks Pollen With Star Pupil, Sour Bubba, Cookies n Chem, NL & Grandpa Glue

You guys are too funny.

I’ve been thinking about super cropping the whole closet honestly.. but I was thinking I’d let this reversal project just be easy and free of extra work. Once you start supercropping you get plants that can be a hassle to move around. I do think that I’ll supercrop the Grandpa Glue though, she could make easily double the seed just cause of one bend.

Her main stem has whorled phyllotaxy!!! That’s amazing. She’s gonna be really bushing and produce big. I’ve seen this before but only on a side branch.
Triploid ?

Triploid ?
It could be triploid, or it could be whorlled phyllotaxy. Normally polyploids look wider like a few buds stacked on each other. Whorlled phyllotaxy is 3 nodes where there should be 2

Okay good to know thanks for sharing bud

Well folks,

after some careful searching while juggling a flash light, a loupe, and a pair of tweezer I think I’ve spotted a few potential pollen sacs. Right now they’re very tiny, and they’re almost completely white...but they’ve got the right look to them. a small ball with a stick next to it, just where a side branch meets a main branch. theyre definitely not pistiled calyxes.

WELL? What's the news on the boy parts front? Anything new to report? I was just looking at my two Thin Mint plants doing a small "be a girl, be a girl" dance for them. I am pretty sure I told you @ChefDGreen that the Thin Mint will be my next reversing project if I get a girl and a nice one.

Yesterday I counted up all the change I've managed to save since last 420 when I purchased some seeds from our sponsor @SeedsMan during their 420 promotion. My final tally was $101.53 which in my book is not too shabby. So that was my limit for a Seedsman seed order including shipping and insurance. I am wanting to build up a small autoflower inventory and I think I got some good ones in this order.

Here is what I ended up ordering. I'll separate the "bought" seeds from the "free" seeds.

Purchased
Zkittlez Auto Feminised Seeds - 3 from Seedsman
Peyote Zkittlez Feminised Seeds - 3 from Seedsman
Peyote Forum Feminised Seeds - 3 from Seedsman
Blackberry Kush Auto Feminised Seeds - 3 from Dutch Passion

Freebies
Cream Mandarine XL Auto from Sweet Seeds 3
Gorilla Girl XL Auto from Sweet Seeds 3
Lemon Auto from Seedsman 3
Blueberry Auto from Seedsman 3

So I ended up with 24 seeds (the first 3 strains from Seedsman excite me) and my total with shipping and full insurance came to $94.81 That works out to $3.95 per seed. I will never have the money to spend $200 on a 6 pack of seeds and I'm okay with that. I have consistently been very happy with the seeds I've purchased from Seedsman especially their house brand. The Peyote Wi-Fi that I grew was TOP SHELF in every aspect. Couldn't ask for better.

I am pretty positive that the Peyote Zkittlez will be the first photo strain I grow. Seedsman has crossed Peyote Wi-Fi with Zkittlez and I can smell that in my mind already.

that sounds like an epic purchase. I’ll be interested in those zkittlez auto from seedsman. Also have heard great things about the blackberry kush auto.

i think in 2-3 more days we’ll have some pollen sacs to capture on photo. Since I’ve removed a few of her leaves and put her up on a box I think the extra light is making those branches finally flower.

Oh, and since you've been so kind as to allow me to sort of hijack your thread till I start my new one I thought I would share two photos of my current autoflower plant. This is Colorado Cookies auto from Dutch Passion. Now I have only been growing now for about 2.5 years so I haven't come close to having seen it all. At this point I am pretty disappointed in this plant. This is an experiment for me growing an auto in a 15 gallon pot. I wanted to see if the extra space/roots would equal a larger plant and thus larger yield. The size of the plant is not too bad to be honest. She is just under 75cm today. But look closely at the branches. They are smooth all the way from the main stalk up to the end of the branch. No leaves, no side shoots, no buds...…..nada, zilch, nunca. I just can't see this plant being very productive. Anyone else grown this strain? Did yours grow similar?

Okay, maybe there is a leaf or two on the side branches but no buds till you get almost to the end of the branches.

You might be the anomaly here, but it's not because you've only been growing for 2.5 years obviously. It's because autos sometimes can just piss you off!

Wow I’m surprised. You think maybe your light is underpowered for that volume of soil, that’s why she went for really long internodes? I bet you she’d look different under 1000w HPS or LEDs with high PPFD. Or maybe if she was in a 3 or 5 gallon pot she would’ve stayed smaller and stacked up a bit better.

I don't have a clue. But I've seen photos of this strain and this one is meek in comparison.

6 more seeds. They are available at a discounted rate.

Heres some pictures of the tops of the treated branches as I apply the CS at lights out. There are definitely some promising looking growths I took some pics with flash and some without

All your hard work has paid off. Now the fun begins. And wait till you see how many pollen sacks you'll end up with in the end. When I start to see the sacks I only apply the CS for a few more days and only to areas I see no pollen sacks yet.

Great job being diligent.

So what are you thinkin’ then? Keep on applying until I’ve got 6 good pollen sac sites right? Keep it to the internodes and the Vs without sacs like you said.

@The Physicist it’s surreal to have arrived at the middle of my first reverse project. The excitement is just now beginning!
