Also, I'm afraid I will probably start scavenging part of them before December :[ I know that is not good, but I also know myself.

A brief Update with a couple photos:

Watered/Fed both Ladies today with 3/4 strength FF Grow Big and 1tsp CalMag (gallon RO water). I gave each 1/2 the gallon hoping the younger (Ada) can take what the more mature (Grace) is given. Today will be a day of nervous watching and fussing - monitoring for something to go terribly wrong still...

Ada is on the left at 17 days above soil - Grace on the right is at 21 days:

Very nice! They're getting big! The one on the right is huge compared to the left. It's crazy how genetics can vary.... :) great job!

Thanks Sphnx - I think it's partly genetics but also the crazy world of autos. I notice a huge difference every day in these ladies. Grace is a full 4 days older than Miss Ada and so maybe it would be like a couple weeks compared to a photo plant??

Although I'm amazed by the faster growth rate there seems to be a higher risk of viability problems with autos both in seeds and getting a productive plant from what I've read/seen (!!??) So, I'll see how the Ladies do with production..

I'd like to grow a nice photo plant along with an auto next time...:peace:

Just curious, how high are you keeping your light now? They seems to be nice and bushy right now.

Remind me, what are the strains? They look kinda Indica dominant too.

Hey Colesdad!

I set my light at about 25" after they got their second set of true leaves and they have grown into them so I'd say their about 20" away. I have "Ada" (which is an automatic White Widow from Dinafem breeders) up on a baking pan so she will match the height of "Grace" (which is an unknown type automatic freebie from Grass-o-matic breeders). Grace is the bigger one at 26 weeks.

I was trying to grow Pineapple Express, but 2 attempts at germinating didn't work. I've got one left for a later try I guess.

I have learned to not water until they are quite dry, which takes longer with LED lighting - But I wonder if I don't water too much at one time. "They" say water until you see runoff, but I think I have way too much runoff. I try going slower each time to catch myself, but still over water I think. (??)
