Interested in the second level on your scrog! I'd always thought that the screen might interfere with or grow into the buds, but I'll be watching and learning over here from the corner. :D

You are right MultiVortex, I think about the screen growing Into the buds. I will guide each bud into a square in the netting to hold it up, instead of bamboo or etc. As it swells I would assume it will grow over the netting wire. One of the YouTube videos said that they cut the strings around the buds during harvest. But no one addresses that issue. So yes it is a learning experience for me too. Lol...

I think you have the right idea. Plants have a remarkable ability to adapt and I think the weight of a bud splitting a stem is much more likely than a bud trying to grow into the scrog wire. But I guess you are going to prove that theory as you grow.

I think you're right with that. Always a chance, but probably not likely.

I figure the worst case scenario would be a bud leaning right on the net, then having to use a piece of string tied to the net, and then tied a little lower on a piece of stalk to hold it up while keeping it off the net.

My last grow near the end I had my lights as high as the tent would allow and the tops of one plant were pushing the limit and getting very close to the light.

I was worried that they would burn themselves, but they adapted and grew around the light until they reached the tent roof and turned and grew along the roof. It's like grass seed sprouting in the crack of a side walk. and eventually cracking the side walk and continuing to grow. You can't stop mother nature. If the conditions are right they will find a way.

Wow, lol. :)
