Those carnivals look as lovely as they (reportedly) taste and feel .
Sue, am I right in noticing that you are managing to flower in your tiny closet? Can you describe for me how you're doing that? How do you block out for the dark period? And do you have any air extraction going on or do you just open it up during lights on? I'm intrigued ....
I have two light-blocking curtains that I lower when the lights go off every evening.
I have my alarm set to go off at 8 AM so I can get out here and open the curtains up for the day. During the day they sit just as you see them, wide open to the room. Any air circulation comes from the air conditioner on the other side of the room or the window right beside the tiny closet.
There's no filtration for this space, and I don't have a circulating fan for it either. It's maintained like this, producing harvest after harvest for the past three years. It's meant to be an open auto space, as you know from reading my earlier journals. The lights were put together as 3500K to support the entire life cycle of autos.
When the the plants aren't six feet tall I can make use of the side spaces too, for clones and seedlings, freeing up other space on the veg shelf. It's quite the versatile growing area.
