We used to band together in groups of similarly aged kids and play in the wilds around the houses. There was a decent sized river called the Palmiet and we used to trek upriver with picnic goods for a swim. Lots of burnt custard and burnt popcorn was consumed. We caught frogs, burnt logs, smoked sticks lol, before we could get hold of ciggies or weed. Later we used to nick ciggies from the adults and go off into the bush to smoke em. We'd bicycle around the neighbourhood being chased by dogs lol.
Weed didn't enter my life until adulthood. I remember my first puffs on a joint and how light I felt and how much everything was so hilariously funny. What good memories, thank you for that Otter.

I try to be that every day still. Doesn't always work but does at times. The alternative is becoming the, get off my lawn guy, and that's not for me. 😊

Oh shizz I forgot about the weaponized beaners !! Many versions of theflaming seed popping and blinding a poor stoner,or the stoner that burned his house down,or his car or insert crazy burning beaner story here lmao. 😂🤣😂 Y'all ever heard of afro man ?? Used love getting stoned n toasty and if we all survive the smoke sesh without maiming or burning ourselves we would get tipsy and sing along to the dirty songs and parts of his CD .....then we all had fire wood quotas each for over nights ......drunk fire wood hunting w friends,girlfriends and fam is one of my most cherished memories of those days gone ....

My folks car seats were all burnt up! Seed holes all over! Oh yeah drunk wood gathering sounds about right! Good times!
