LOL! I hope it's the SSD. That one sounds the pick of the bunch for me. That and the cookies. Yummy.
SSD is really better than I thought it might be. The flowers are of the highest quality, bag appeal is obscene. Great flavor, solid potency, and the effect is not notch ... she a fine smoke. Should have some more detailed reports up soon. More testing!
Having choices is the best ain't it! They all sound so good. I want to try them all! Congratz on some good smoke bro!
It's really nice man. I wasn't excited about the last couple of runs, these are so much better. There's a balance needed for good hybrids imo. They don't have to be 50/50 - just unified in their direction and 'message'. I want to feel like it's pulling in the same direction, where you don't sense Sat vs. Indi if you get me. I'll post some further grow/smoke observations soon. I've just about put them through their paces.
I still want to smoke all your weed. Heading over now!
Those were some great smoke reports CareBrother! When I read a report and immediately go check my seed stock I know it was a good report lol! Just so happens I have two of those strains. Going to drop 2 Tahoe's. Did she herm on you? Any lessons learned you can pass on to me?
We got more coming man...I'm just surrounded by some compelling distractions
The Tahoe I got was Cali Con, and it was the Fem version. I'm going to guess that she breeds pretty true to the mother in the S1 form, as she follows the traits you see in the original. I just ran out of the 10g or so of popcorn, and have just started trying the prime flowers yesterday. They are ridiculously dank, sticky, kushy, and strong.
I'll post my new cleanup routine for femmed/twitchy genetics...but the short answer is that she didn't herm. She did pop some male flower sacs down low during the stretch, as did a few others. I have a tent in a darkened room to grow in, and a light tight tent, so I don't think I have any light issues. I did have the power go out, so there was one light stress incident - but they almost all do this if they have some Chem and are Femmed ... HSO, Cali, CGS, etc, etc. Best thing to do is clean up ALL small branches in the lower 2/3 of the plant at or before the flip. That's where they appear. She's also a light feeder, N sensitive in Veg and flower. She's got enough Sat to want to be fairly wet too, so slightly more frequent but mild feedings are better. She was tolerant of high negative VPD, but really shined when she was in the pocket (higher RH 70% and mid/high temp of 82F).
I'll get some pics up I swear lol.
