loving the jandre kush, pure bud for you my friend, reps if it lets me.

i have been using bassmans defo method on one of my clones that are in flower, i started of with 2 clones and they are both well into flower and not far off done, i left the 1 as it was but on the other i removed any leaf that had a stem of over 1.5 inches, so i removed most of the leaves that was not sticking out the buds, the difference is shocking, the plant i removed the leaves from has got buds 3 times as fat as the other plant, ill put pics up of the 2 tomorrow, im starting to think i should of done it to all my plants, but i was a bit cautious with all the conflicting data about whats best, it seems to be working with this 1 plant anyway

Harvest Update SideA Part 3

98g trimmed for hanging.

7" average.

Top right in pic 2 had a LOT of fox-tailing.

Pics taken on new Nikon COOLPIX L810. Awesome Camera, for those that are looking for one.

Dry weight is in. 49g Dry. 50% of wet weight. I usually lose between 70% to 76% of initial weight of fresh cut wet weight when hung to dry... Pretty STRONG argument for the resin production during the Diminishing Light Schedule. Less water to evaporate because the resin solids take up more space.

re: Cardboard Flowerbox Test 3 - 41 Week Perpetual SOG

i had a feeling you were in a patch, no worries we love you back, and front and your pointy head too!! lol 50% huh thats interesting same thing happened with my first harvested chemdog clone it was a lil over 2z dried it came out to lil over 1z and i have been using uvb as well that is starting to really show results the chemdog is so sticky after drying it still feels wet ish to the touch ! im sold on the uvb, today i noticed one of the autos has sunburn from being to close to the uvb bulb, sucks but its proof its working and lower on the plant it has visibly more resin production, you should try it, i will be trying some of the chemdog that was under it for 4 or so weeks, i will be paying close attention to the affects vs the stuff that was not under it very long:thumb:

Please explain more on UVB? I know it's Ultraviolet Beta, but what's the premise, and practice? How does one add this to their lighting? Y'know... the works.

re: Cardboard Flowerbox Test 3 - 41 Week Perpetual SOG

UVB LIGHT
Ultra-violet B light is a spectrum of light that is invisible to us but is visible to insects and some other organisms. In humans it causes suntan and sunburn and is implicated in the formation of eye cataracts. It is the light emitted by tanning bulbs.
UVB light also affects marijuana potency. The potency of high quality marijuana increases in direct ratio to the amount of UVB light it receives. This is very significant. In California, where the medical dispensaries operate in an unrestricted market; many dispensaries reject fall harvested outdoor material as inferior. They have found it lacks the potency of indoor crops and is a harsh smoke. However, when they were presented with marijuana grown outdoors but forced to ripen August 10, they accepted it as if it were indoor because of its high potency and lack of harshness. I think the harshness results from cool nights.
Indoors, under fluorescent and HPS lamps, gardens receive little UV-B light. Metal halides emit a bit more. However, there are ways of supplying your garden with UV-B light. Tanning lamps work, that is, lamps that tan people, because of the UV-B light they emit. Using tanning lamps will increase the THC content of the crop. Reptiles and lizards require the spectrum to stay healthy. So the spectrum usually comprises about 10 percent of their output. If you want to try tanning lamps they are available on the Internet. Use between 5-10 percent of your total wattage to these lamps. For a 1000-watt garden use 100 watts of special lighting.
Adding UV-B light to your garden will enhance your marijuana naturally, without “special formulas” and chemicals.

i use the 10.0 uvb out put cfl reptile bulb from the pet store!! (wink)
