I was trying to loupe Ms. Cheese in 35 mph winds today-you don't realize how much the wind blows you around till you're trying to focus on something the size of a trichome ...
I only have to remember to unplug a fan. I still screw it up. Lol
Snip, and under the microscope it goes. No wind or fan to worry about. I lose perhaps a quarter gram per grow to my trichome checks.

The indoor girls have shaped up very nicely mate. Ms Cheese is awesome. Which fans did you go for? Sound very much like the ones I bought. The original is still going after nearly 3 back to back grows now.Monday,Monday,Monday....
Update time once again!
Pretty good week,plant-wise-the autos are both just doing what they do...not getting any taller, but their buds are getting a little fatter everyday....
My low budget theme was dealt a crushing blow last week...The 99cent store no longer carries my $2.00 fans !......I know,right?
SO...I had to pry open the old wallet and order some fans from the zon- what I ordered was 3 computer fans (usb x120mm x 56cfm box fans)- they're rated at 67,000 hours,so for the price ($11.00each) it's a pretty good deal....The $2.00 fans last about 5 months before
they wear out (2700 hours),and I've replaced about 8 of them since I started...so these should last considerably longer---probably be a little noisy,but it is what it is....
Back to the plants- here's a "Saugaview®" into the box:

And a Purple Punch bud-not very big yet,but a little bigger than yesterday (apx 3 weeks to go):
and there's a lot of them,thanks to the quadline training-
So,now for MsCheese- She dodged the harvest bullet today (thanks,@Old Salt )
Quite a bit of amber on the sugar leaves,but not really any where it counts,so she gets at least another week to finish up:
Her top cola is pretty big,and her smell is "deliciously pungent" (some might call it stink,but I like it)- I didn't have any Miller High Life like @Virgin ground
Her "side buds(?)" are also fairly large,not huge- but not small,either-there's about 20 of them...21 counting the seeded bud,but it pretty much stopped growing after pollination-
And the Seeded bud-you can't really see the pods unless you dig into it a bit,but they're there.
When I harvest, I'm going to leave this bud growing for another couple of weeks to make sure the seeds are done
A little history on MsCheese- she went into the ground on 7/9,at 1 week from sprout-
so she's almost 3.5 months old- I spotted her first pre flowers on 8/5, but I'm not really sure when she officially started flowering- Probably about 8 weeks ago (8/26), judging by how she looks now. @SeedsMan says 8 to 10 weeks flowering time,so their estimate is pretty close.
She's had nothing but MegaCrop since day 7-and now she's getting 7g per gallon every 3 days.
And that's about it for today- next week may be harvest time for MsCheese,I'll probably do a separate update for that, if it happens then...
