How about a little update on the 2 outdoor ladies?

It was warm and sunny on 4/20, when these 2 went outside- followed by 4 days of mid 60's temps and generally ugly, sunless weather..

But, being the true weeds that they are, they're making the best of it out there in the cold & shitty..

This one's not waiting on the sun, she's just growing now..

23 days old- she was topped above node #6- 6 days ago, and now the rest is up to her...

And, the 26 day old Somango...she's going to wait for the sun before she does much....

She's ready to grow...just add a little sunshine...

Temps have been dipping into the low 50's at night- probably not ideal, but it doesn't seem to bother them a whole lot..

According to the weather folks, the sun is due back on Saturday...

Thanks, Keith- Yeah, I think those 2 are going to do ok, once the weather cooperates a little...

So, I gave the granddaughter a ride home today, and my daughter had these Strawberries...her neighbor works in the Strawberry fields, and the folks who work in the fields get the "good shit"..anyhow, she loaned him a bale of hay on Halloween(?), so he brought her a shitload of these today..

These are the ones that are red all the way through, too.
picked like an hour ago...

There's a bunch more, but these 4 are mine...

There is something magical for plants when it comes to the sun. Well I think there is.

You can almost see them grow on a nice warm sunny day...get a little bit zooted, and you can see them grow...

I just uppotted her last week. I want her to settle just a smidge more.

We lived 2 blocks from the Strawberry fields, so I pilfered quite few berries growing up- not as many as you'd think, though- when they're right there all the time, you sort of lose interest...

How does one more week sound?

Sounds good to me....it'll give her a chance to grow another inch!
Here she is today...nice n healthy...

and nice and short! She's a solid 4.5" tall

There's a lot of sticks there, but I haven't touched them for a week,
I'm leaving it up to her from here on.
I really wonder if she's going to stretch at all once she gets flipped...
I think she probably will stretch some...we will see!

If she keeps growing like she is, she'll need mowing and edging pretty soon...

There was, until Friday, when she started growing...3.5" tall on Friday, 6" tall today...go figure....

That's true- I had a 4 plant run of 17" tall ladies awhile back- they've only been 'bigger' since the GSC...
I'm not sure about this one now- she's 53 days old today, and I started her on RxBlend nutes 6 days ago-
and that may be why she finally decided to do a little growing...

I pulled out all the training hooks, and I'm going to see what she does on her own for awhile- she really didn't respond well to being tied down...

It's also possible that she just didn't like the Grow Dots, but she'd be the first one to not like them....
I don't really know, but it does look like she might actually reach 10 inches tall by flip day! (next Sunday)
