And that stalk in the medium, or dirt as we call here, will root too. Well I have found it does.

I think it does too- I'll check it out when I clean out her SIP after the chop..

The plants shrink about 3 inches, so later on, they can get 3" taller without causing a problem..
a tiny, unexpected benefit...

Been down with the flu for the last 3 days, finally feeling human again today..I was too sick to even fill the rez on my plant on Saturday, so she went thirsty till Sunday morning...when the power went out and stayed out all effing day..

So she had a drought day, followed by a day of darkness...which definitely can't be good for her, but it didn't seem to bother her all that much....
Anyhow, how about an Update on the 125 day old @Barney's Farm Blue Gelato 41?
It's her 112th day in the SIP, and she's been suckin' up the RxBlend nutes for 56 days. GrowDots provided her with nutrients for her first 65 days (apx.)

She was flipped to 12/12 70 days ago, and started flowering 12 days later...

Corner shot...

She's finally fading a little bit, but just in a couple of spots..

Those are some very dense buds...

Through the little door:

I scoped 5 or 6 buds, and still not an amber trichome to be found..seems like there should be a few by now...the low temps in the garage may be slowing things down a little..but she'll get there, eventually..

The big bud...

A leaner...

A chunky little bud..

A little "below the canopy" bud...it looks like it's growing some fur..

The box was making a "buzzing" noise this morning- and I found this poor little bud was stuck in the fan .....kinda got the shit beat out of it...

And finally, a not so good shot thru the big door....

And that's about it for today!

Well I'm sure glad you came out the other side of that feeling well enough to get the Monday update in! Sorry you were down for the count (3 days ), but it looks like that plant managed to both thrive and get purple in your absence.

Not watering her on Saturday could have been to her benefit since she had to sit in the dark all the next day. Just saying.

Man, you and me both- I haven't been that sick in a long time...Yesterday while the power was out, I was sitting there thinking- "boy, I'm glad this power outage doesn't affect the toilet"..

but it looks like that plant managed to both thrive and get purple in your absence.

She did! I think she enjoyed her extra- long nap..
and she started that pinkish thing awhile back, not sure when because I /we can't see it unless I turn the light down..

Ha! I'm ugly as ever, but it's looking like she might stay pretty (or at least green (ish) till the end...

She never even drooped, so she didn't seem to miss the water very much-
and she did get 4 hours of light before the power went out, so she only
spent 20 in the dark..it was just a little bump in the road..
