Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Hey brother! Enjoy the time to yourself, some alone time is important.
I like the DIY box for the clone, iv'e not yet dove into pollination and that's a whole new topic me for - so i'll be keeping an close eye on that. :ganjamon:
Ms. Cheese is looking like she's loving her spot!
For the bugs - if your nicotine solution doesn't help - @Smeegol's got an awesome organic foliar recipe containing some chillies, garlic and this and that, check with him on the recipe - it has worked for me wih most bug problems and can be made with some ingredients you've probably got around the house. :passitleft:

Sorry about the family drama.
Thanks,VG...It's not really that bad-I survived her moms "chatterbox" phase 32 years ago,so I'll survive this one too.....I don't really appreciate the sound of silence till it's not there....I'm diggin it right now,though...:)

I recently saw a technique on Instagram used to keep a bonsai mother small. She uses a solo cup with holes in the bottom and then the solo cup is inside a short and shallow outer container with more dirt for the roots to drink from. I hope that made sense? Anyhow, I thought that might be worth a look for your male?
Lol, enjoy the silence my friend! She sounds like a little cutie, but yeah, they can make your brain explode sometimes. :laughtwo:

if your nicotine solution doesn't help
Thanks, irie - I think the iso will work for most critters,so I'll go with that till I need to bring in the"Big Guns"-aphids in late flower are the ones I worry about the most, because they get deep into the buds, and they just stay there-they don't leave during drying, they just stay there and die of thirst-I've still got 4oz of "aphid bud" in my freezer from a few years ago.

Aphids are easy to kill with soap spray
They kind of got ahead of me a few years ago,but that's not going to happen this time...
Funny how the big guy out there never had so much as a whitefly-but he grew up a little ahead of prime bug season, which is evidently right now....

Evening mr.Carcass mayhaps this helps I hope...
Thanks for stopping by,and thanks for the recipe @Smeegol !
I've got everyhing but the chillies "in stock",and they're just a five minute drive away...
Any particular type of chili -I'm thinking jalapenos ?

Exactly! Mine was about ready to, so I had to exercise the "daycare option"...

Thanks for the idea with the short and shallow cup-not that watering him
is a big job,but I am an old fart, and you know how forgetful we can be...;)

Lol, I think it’s more of a way to keep it from becoming root bound while (whilst?) staying small. I’ll look at the post again and report back if I find better info.
Man, daycare sounds pretty great right now. I still get nap times, but even that is becoming sporadic with my oldest.

You might try this for your outside bugs ... this is great natural protection against bugs and pathogens... it keeps the tomato worms off of my plants outside, and for me, that is very impressive. Those big green worms with the spikes on the end are not as tough as those little microbes.

Aphids are easy to kill with soap spray. I use Dr. Bronner's unscented castille soap
I've seen you mention that in your journal-that's good to know-I don't worry about other bugs
nearly as much as I do aphids-probably from previous bad experiences I've had with those little buggers

Jalapeños are fine.... If you have a jar spare I got a sandwich waiting..haha

Thanks for reminding me, need to do this soon.

I'll use the fresh ones-and what I don't use in the recipe,I'll fill with cream cheese, wrap them in bacon, and throw them on the barbcue-
That transforms them into what we call "Buffalo Turds"-Yum!
It takes a knack to cook them, because with all that bacon,it's like trying to barbecue a rag soaked in gasoline-super flammable....If they don't go up in smoke, they're delicious!
