Update: After several days of Artic temps my daily wake n bake seemed almost Spring like. Almost being the keyword seeing’s that I only spent a couple of minutes outside

I was there in 2000 and there was this mysterious haze and some kind of alert they talked about on the FM radio. Must’ve been fog. Lmfao

We definitely get smog now and then in the summer but it's nowhere near what it was in the old days. Gotta love the EPA's ability to regulate air quality!

I think it was like that all over with the bomb cyclone last week. I heard the temps dropped suddenly (like 40º in a few hours) in a lot of spots across the country. I had -40c temps before Christmas, woke up to 1 1/2 foot snow drifts Christmas morning, took 3 days to clean up. Then temps rise, it starts to rain 1/2", then snow 1/2". Also, the power went out for 2 1/2 hours last night when the wind whipped up

I just dug out again.
Brought in firewood and cranked up the heat.
Poor garage has to be buckling.
I clean it constantly.
But it's 4' up the side's already. It's still December!!!
