Here's a question for all you "Rocket Surgeons"
If you took a cutting, got it to root and exposed it to "wacky" light schedules and did induce a hermi and used that pollen on the mother plant or another plant, would the seeds be prone to hermi even tho you controlled the conditions??Asking for a friend!!!

Journal Update: Day 31 Buenos Dios my growing brothers and sisters. All the ladies are looking good, I haven’t noticed any LM damage so shout out to @Sierra Natural Science for a great product. I’m never going to grow another plant without using their Systemic Pest Control. I want everyone to know they have a summer sale on right now for the 5 Star Grow Kit 19.99. My Temple Kush is really looking good really starting to grow. The Tangies look good but 1 is bigger than the other one. I've never had any luck with those Seeds.
I found if you grow Seeds from a hermie you get a hermie.
Just my experience.

Ditto.... And online will give you contradictory information... Some say you get bomb fem seedz from stress induced hermies.....others say any Hermie seed will produce just that....hermies.I don't breed and make Seeds, so I can't say from experience.
But if I get a seed from a hermie situation I throw it away now.

I guess that was basically my question - so - my thought was that some plants will hermi for no good reason - but - if you need to create some extreme event to cause it then maybe you could get away with it if conditions remained more or less normal.

Also I've read....so don't quote me... But it's said some plants will also produce flowers late in flower in hopes of pollinating itself to further it's genetic lineage...which would produce "in theory" 100% female or exact copies of the mother?!

By this I mean if you used extremes to create the pollen but the seeds created were not subjected to any extremes they might be fine. Damn covid may have rattled my brain!!!

Update: Weather Report:It’s currently 95 degrees with 50% RH thankfully there’s a 25 mph breeze but I couldn’t stand seeing the ladies getting blown around and put a plastic chair in front to defuse the wind. but this is Chicago so it’s coming from the east 1 minute and then the west the next.Smh

Good thinking there Growmie, I have some chicken wire with pretty good size holes I was gonna use to spread the main cola and branches if they ever get big enough. But I can definitely stake them until then. Thanks bro.
