I disagree a little - but maybe your bill is calculated differently.

Left bank is one 1000w DE, digital ballast. >3000PFD at 80cm. On the right two Mars Hydro FCE4800 (only on 50% and 75%) the HPS is 6.5A of the 9.2 shown.

Upstairs on another box I have 3x FC6500s @ 730w each 100% for 2190w. Draws ~6A total.

Less than one HPS. I have a no name brand 320w LED draws about 3A on max - nearly what the two 480w take on max.

I’m pretty sure someone more electrically minded than me will confirm that the additional Amps cost more money at the meter.

One thing we can agree on is the HPS and CMH (in veg) do seem to produce special nugs! These are 3 weeks in flower.

a watt is a watt period.. 630 watts is much less than 945 watts period. what are you trying to argue ?

electric bill is in kilowatts per hour..

My seeds arrived today as well. It says they were shipped from Toronto, which makes sense considering Toronto is only 70 kilometres away.

“Chi” Is an abbreviation of a small city (has a cathedral so a city not a town) just to the west of where Roy is in the UK. Likely no more than 40-50 miles.

Koh Samui (Island Samui) Thailand is about a 3.5 hours drive away from where I live now - then 2 hours on a ferry.

I’m also a Hong Kong citizen. (SAR of the PRC)

But “chi” in that context is pronounced “chee” and “Chi” rhymes with “High”! And also with “chai” which is “yes” in Thai but means “tea” in Cantonese!

Speaking of “high” to get back on subject 😅

I have 25 seeds inbound - Gorilla Banner Regular. Going to do a couple of grows post sexing and try a dabble in breeding or femming some perhaps?

Anyone here have some suggestions on a grow style to try? I’m open to most stuff. Mediums/lights/indoor/outdoor Anyone got a recommendation or suggestion? I’d be super happy to give something new a go if people are interested in seeing it happen! I’m very fortunate to have a selection of spaces and equipment to experiment with.
