Canuk Seeds Comparative Grow

Be careful which oil - our neem is organic but I wouldn't be spraying it on buds. Think @Carmen Ray knows of some organic bud safe stuff. The diatomaceous earth is good though.
I don't really. I've fortunately never had the borg. I believe there is not a lot one can do about it. I'm sorry. Sjoe who was it now, it was @Regrowth who recommends using canola oil but their experience I think is in veg. I'd be careful with anything in flower. I used insecticidal soap and it burnt my plants pistils but the buds still fattened and I got a decent harvest so it wasn't a loss.
What I have used outdoors is a combination of Beauveria Bassiana and other goodies for different problems (DE, neem, BT, primarily). The BB must be sprayed on a couple of times a week. I can't see that harming flower but I'm not sticking my neck out.

did you smoke those buds too... good way to get cancer!

it would be worth researching what's approved for use in the commercial sector here for pests / rot...
it seems they've taken health implications seriously and then it's not a guessing game.

maybe a better way to think about it or say it would be to say you have 100x great chance of getting cancer
by smoking insecticides !!!!!!!!!!!!!! if kills spiders and insects it kills humans too

id rather mow my spider mites into the ground for indoor growing
start over...

cheers

dont bring clones home .. or put house plants near your grow room .. only way i get them...

This is untrue - please see here on which insecticides are also harmful to humans and those that are not.

This is not a very smart way of dealing with it, spider mites will often arrive in soil, from legitimate sources, I've had them arrive in imported top end Dutch sourced potting soil mixes. Your lawn mower approach simply transfers them to your garden where they can do harm and likely reinvade your grow space as they follow you back on the soles of your shoes.

Can you direct me to the study where this unknown, undefined notional pest treatment is demonstrated to cause cancer, please?

I don't see how you ever help a grower out with advice or encouragement when someone is looking for it, just a bunch of negativity and proclamations that the way that you do it is the only correct way. You shoulda listened to Wastei and backed your lights off, your yield would be up and your plants look less damaged.

You're welcome.

Nick

Thanks Nick!

I am so tired Of DD being plain rude to me and casting aspersions on my ability to cultivate cannabis. I have no idea what this person seeks to gain by this behaviour!

Go chop up your plants DD

I knew I had read something recently about Spider Mite control in flower. @Freedom of Seeds uses the following:
I have sprayed both remaining Gelato Cookies thoroughly with SMC Spidermite Control on 03/01 - 10/01 and again 17/01 on all plants in flowering room, i am happy to say it's working very well, and it is having the desired effect of killing and stopping the mites from multiplying!
And what's totally amazing is! the SMC Spidermite Control is not interfering with the budding or flowering of all flowering plants in the room!
Zero harm have come to flowers and buds after spraying with SMC Spidermite Control!

There's also some information on this spidermite control in the reviews section
"When you do find that you have an infestation, have some SNS-217 ready to deploy!

SNS-217 is EPA Exempt, which means that it poses little to no risk to your health or the environment. It has what is called a 0-day re-entry interval – which means that you don’t have to suit up to use this product. SNS-217 is made to be safe around children and pets when used as directed and it is OMRI certified to be Organic. It is safe to use up to the day of harvest when used as directed."

This product can burn the leaves, and it will stress some of your plants, but not all! i am amazed by this miracle :thumb: natural spidermite control, spaying mature developing buds is OK!

Perhaps you can email me your address for sending you some auto fems for a GJ for freedom of seeds?
Thanks for all your support :peacetwo:

Oh wow, yes, thank you I will dm you now. I'd love that. 🙏

How it going @Absorber

Take it from me the auto's now day are a breeze to grow. I am current grow a Strawberry Cheesecake (a) and a Northern Lights (a). This is the first time I have grown auto's in over10 years or so.

The only advise I can give you is; I started in their final pot, so I would not stress them during transplanting. I see a few grows on here have problems stressing their auto out during up potting. The way auto's grow, you won't have much time to fix a mistake. That's why I start them in their final pot.

Just a thought, but it works for me.

Here is an image of Black Sugar and Northern Light both auto's currently around day 64 of 120.

And I don't grow auto's, I just figured what the hell I already have the seeds.
The Strawberry Cheesecake (a) was a freebie from about 6 or more years ago.

Bur now days auto's a worth a look.
I just like photo period for playing and yield.

Be safe and grow well my friend,
Tok..

@Absorber is so old he pre dates fire. He used to roll a joint and hope lightening struck him to light it. Its why he became an electrician. He’s been shocked that many times he has a deep understanding of high voltage.
