ive never heard of starting seeds in pro mix... i do it the way i learn in way back in pre school..

small glass wrap toilet paper gently around the inside of glass add your 24 hr water.. 1/8 of glass

drop in seed between toilet paper and glass wall u can watch it grow..

never fails transplant into pro mix when about 2 inches of root can do 1 inch np..

place in dark warm spot 20 c is fine 25 be nicer..

This method was recommended to me by a local who's been growing for decades -
and I've spotted some seedbanks recommending it too.
I place a seed in a shot glass of 1 part 3% peroxide to 10 parts water.
Once it cracks open I dump it into the soil, water and all.
It can take a few days and from there a few more for it to rise out of the soil.

I do the same thing with the peroxide but I scuff first with fine grit sandpaper and then wet paper towel with the peroxide then into a ziplock bag it goes into a dark warm place. 99.9% success rate. CL🍀

You scuff the seed with sand paper?
 
I’ll try on the next one I do. But honestly since I’ve started I haven’t had any issues ever with just a wet paper towel in warm spot. The sand paper is just another step. It makes sense.
 
I will be doing that strain aswell as Green Crack ,Weeding Cake, Cherry Pie and Obi-Wan Kush

This is the method that I use.
In five years I have only failed to sprout four seeds.
The ones that failed were quite old and not stored properly.

This has been my method for a while but I just go about 24-30 hours and sometimes they aren’t cracked yet. 6 for 6 on the last batch!
